Romance RP

(Awww I see.  I'm sorry the exam didn't go well.  I've had that happen to me, too.  :/  I'm glad you're here and I'll post, too, even though I have work later today.  ^^)

Matthew nodded happily and replied, "Yes, I feel exactly the same way.  Even during the daytime, the park doesn't get too crowded.  There just tends to be more children during the day so it does get a bit noisier but otherwise, it's quite enjoyable."

Matthew's dad added, "I agree.  It was such a wonderful idea to come here."

(Thanks. ^^ I finally got the chance to reply again. I had another exam today although fortunately, this one went a lot better. ^^ Those were the largest and most difficult subjects so hopefully, I might be able to post more often and all. ^^)

Lycoris smiled softly as she heard Matthew's comment and curiously asked, 

"Do you like children, Matt? I wonder how you are around them. Is it easy to deal with children patients? They must be a bit more challenging than adult ones, right?"

(Awww that's great, Love.  I'm happy for you.  ^^  )

Matthew smiled softly and replied, "I love kids.  They are more difficult to handle than adult ones but the parents are there to help and I'm friendly with the kids."

He looked at Lycoris, imagining how life would be if the two of them had kids.

(Thanks. ^^   Things are a bit quieter here so I have the chance to reply. XD)

Lycoris smiled softly and happily said, 

"I think I'd love kids as well. I mean, I haven't really dealt with any but I can imagine they must be such a happiness to have around, right? Especially how they play and look upon everything so innocently. Does your work as a doctor allow you to deal with a lot of kids?"

(Nice.  XD)

Matthew nodded and replied, "Yup, it sure does.  Dad and I treat children a lot.  Would you like to come with me when I treat one of the children next time?  Let's see."

He looked thoughtful and then added, "One of the nobles' kids is coming by tomorrow afternoon for a check up.  Would you like to sit in and listen?"

Lycoris looked quite excited about the idea and nodding happily, she said,

"Yes, I'd love that. I enjoyed hearing on when you were doing your last checkup with the previous patient, but I'll be even more interested if it's a kid. I'd love to see how they are around you, and how you are around them."

Matthew smiled warmly at Lycoris and replied, "Then tomorrow afternoon it is.  You'll get to find out how I am around kids."

He gently held on to Lycoris' arm and enjoyed the evening walk with her, loving her presence and her company.

Lycoris smiled softly and continued enjoying the evening as well, feeling peaceful in Matthew's presence and doing her best to ignore her headache.

Meanwhile, Lady Penelope continued to look at the surroundings and enjoy them. Sighing a bit, she smiled sadly and said, "I wish my daughter came with us. She might have felt a bit better if she smelled some fresh air here."

Matthew looked towards Lady Penelope and nodding sadly, he replied, "I agree.  This place does wonders to relax one's mind and body and it's especially great to come here in the evenings."

(Sorry I wasn't able to post for the past few days. I was pretty sick and bedridden and it came in the middle of my exams too so yeah. :/ Anyways, I am feeling a lot better now so I'll try to post at least once every day until I am done and all. ^^)

Lady Penelope smiled a little more and nodding, she said, 

"I definitely agree. Devenshire is quite lucky to have this little piece of heaven in it."

Lycoris said, "I'd like to come here once in the morning. Is that possible, Matt? I'd love to see this place when it's lively with people and kids and such."

(Awww I see.  I'm glad you're feeling better.  ^^  )

Matthew looked thoughtful and replied, "That could be possible.  If either Lady Penelope, her daughter, or the chancellor were to cast an invisible or disguise spell on us, then we could come here in the mornings as well."

He looked to Lady Penelope and the chancellor to see what they thought about the idea.

Lady Penelope nodded happily and replied, "Personally, I don't mind and yes, that's definitely possible."

The chancellor added, "It will be nice to see how the park is in the morning as well."

Lycoris smiled softly and said, "Thank you. Then please, let's come again in the morning as soon as possible."

Matthew nodded happily and replied, "All right then.  You just name the day you want to and then we'll come here that morning."

He loved to see Lycoris happy, for it made him happy, too.

Lycoris nodded happily and said, "Thanks, Matt. You're the best."

The party continued enjoying the rest of the evening in the park in peace, with no uneventful happenings coming up.

As the party continued to enjoy their time in the park, it got darker and Matt looked up at the sky, noting how many stars were shining.  He asked,

"Are there this many stars in the gods' world, too?"

Lady Penelope nodded happily and replied, "Yes, of course and maybe even more."

Lycoris happily commented, "Did you know that there are two moons in the gods' world, Matt? And there are three in the devils' world. I think the number of stars is the same though."

(I'll be going to work soon but I'll make this post first before I go out.  ^^)

Matthew turned to Lycoris and nodding happily, he replied, "I see.  It must be beautiful having two, even three, moons up in the sky.  Two would be like a pair of eyes gazing down on the world below it."

Lady Penelope smiled softly and said,

"There's a famous story back in our world that those two moons are actually in love and the stars are like their children. It's beautiful and romantic in a way."

Lycoris smiled happily and nodding, she said, "Yes, I think I have heard of this story before as well."

Matthew looked on with lots of interest and asked, "My lady, would you like to tell us the story?  I'd love to hear it."

Alex added, "I'd like to hear this story, too."

Lady Penelope smiled softly and replied,

"Oh it isn't that much of a big story but it's a well-known tale around our world. It's said that those two moons are actually in love and married, and the stars that lighten our world are their children. The big, happy family watches for the safety and happiness of the gods and the happier our world is, the brighter they shine in the sky."

(Welcome back.  I'm here now and I'll post as much as I can.  If I slow down, though, then I'm busy with other things but yeah, I'm here.  XD)

Matthew smiled softly and replied, "That is a beautiful story.  I absolutely love it.  It makes me wish that our world had two moons rather than one."

(Welcome back and no problem. ^^)

Lady Penelope giggled happily and replied, "Aww who knows. Maybe your moon just hasn't found its soulmate yet? Perhaps when it does, you'll find another moon show up in your sky."

Matthew chuckled and replied, "That very well could happen.  We never know."

Remembering something, Alex asked, "Would anyone like to get some hot chocolate or a late night dessert?  I know this place that'll still be open at this time."

Alex remembered the time that he took Lycoris there although he didn't say so out loud.

Lycoris' eyes lit up with happiness as she heard Alex's suggestion, and she too could remember clearly the time Alex took her to that place. She happily said,

"Yes, yes, please, I would love that. Hot chocolate is great to have at any time."

Nerine didn't look really interested but she was annoyed that Alex's suggestion brought Lycoris so much excitement.

Matthew smiled and replied, "I certainly wouldn't be opposed to the suggestion.  What about everyone else?"

Matthew's dad nodded happily, liking the idea.
