Romance RP

Nerine nodded and replied, "Yes, we'll be right there."

After Matthew went out of the room, Nerine turned to Alex and apologetically said, "I hope it's ok I said that, Alex. I just thought that we'll seem a little rude if we didn't eat with the others now either."

(Ahh I'll be heading to college now and it's a bit of a long day so yeah, I probably won't be on to RP today. I'll post tonight though and I'll be here tomorrow as usual. See you later, phoenix. ^^)

Alex nodded and replied, "Of course, darling.  I understand.  We shouldn't avoid the others for too long so I'm in complete agreement with you there.  Are you ok with this, though?"

Nerine sighed a bit then shrugging, she replied,

"Not really. I would have preferred that we stay by ourselves as I am not exactly comfortable around the others, but if we continue to stay up here longer, it wouldn't be too nice and we'd end up worrying them further. But don't worry, I can manage."

Alex nodded and replied, "Ok and don't worry, darling.  I'll be by your side always.  We don't have to talk much around the others.  Just our presence there will give them peace of mind."

The couple soon finished getting ready, and meanwhile, Matthew waited outside for them so they could all have breakfast together.

(I'll be going to work this afternoon but I'll make this post now while I can.  XD)

(Sorry I didn't post today at all. We had problems with the power supply since it kept going on and off and I had loads of house chores and study to take care off and all. :/ I have an exam tomorrow so I am not sure whether I'll be able to post but I'll try to come on if I could and sorry again. :/)

Nerine nodded and replied, "Yes, that's true and as long as you are here with me, my Alex, I am going to be fine."

She smiled softly to him and holding his arm, she waited for him to lead the way to outside.

(Awww it's all right, Love.  I know things happen and they can be out of our control at times.  Best of good luck with your exam and just post when you can.  ^^)

Alex smiled back at Nerine and gently holding her arm, he led the way out of their room.  There, Matthew was waiting for the couple and a smile on his face, he said,

"Excellent.  You two are ready.  I'll lead the way."

Matthew led the way downstairs and to the dining room, with Alex and Nerine following behind him.

(Thanks for understanding. I'll post now and hopefully a couple of times more before I head to the exam and all. ^^)

Meanwhile, the party was waiting for Matthew to return, and as he, Alex and Nerine came down, Lady Penelope looked pleasantly surprised as she said,

"Oh Alex, Nerine, it is so good to see you. I am so happy you're joining us for breakfast."

Lycoris was surprised to hear that Alex and Nerine showed up and an expression of pure happiness showed on her face immediatly.

(Ok.  ^^)

Alex bowed to the party and replied, "Good morning, everyone.  My darling and I felt comfortable coming down to have breakfast with all of you this morning."

While Alex helped Nerine into a seat at the table, Matthew took his seat beside Lycoris and gently touched her hands, letting her know of his presence.

(Ahh I have to go really soon but I'll make this post before I go. XD)

Lycoris felt Matthew touch her hand and smiling softly, she quietly said, "Are you the one who got them? Is that why you left?"

The chancellor turned to the couple and smiling, he said, "We're happy you finally joined us. We couldn't help but worry since you were keeping to yourselves all the time."

(Ok.  XD)

Matthew whispered, "I just wanted to check up on them but they agreed on their own to come down and have breakfast with us."

Alex nodded and replied, "Yes, we understand and we didn't want you all to continue worrying about us so we decided to join you this morning."

Lycoris smiled softly and nodding, she replied quietly but happily,

"I am so happy they finally joined us. Thank you, Matt. I really appreciate it."

Lady Penelope nodded happily in understanding and said, "You've done well, dears. Breakfast will taste even more delicious with more company to enjoy."

Matthew smiled softly and quietly replied to Lycoris, "You're welcome.  Seeing you happy makes me happy."

He then turned to the others and added, "Yes, I definitely agree."

The maids soon came into the dining room, carrying trays of delicious breakfast dishes and laid them before the party.

As breakfast was laid before them and after the maids had left, Lady Penelope looked at the spread of food and happily commented,

"Yum, this is looking especially delicious. I say we should start before it gets cold."

Alex nodded happily and replied, "Definitely.  Breakfast looks especially delicious today.  Fried eggs, sausages, and toast."

Matthew added, "Also, there's coffee and orange juice."

Lady Penelope replied happily, "In that case, let's enjoy ourselves and start eating, everyone."

The party started enjoying their breakfast and Lycoris started reaching out to her food and eating as well, feeling happy just to know that Alex and Nerine were nearby.

As Matthew helped himself to the food as well, he turned to Lycoris and asked, "Which drink would you like today, Lycoris?  Coffee or orange juice?"

Alex began to eat as well, as he was feeling hungry and the foo was very delicious.

(If I'm slow in posting, it's because I'm multi-tasking.  XD)

(Take your time. XD)

Lycoris was thoughtful for a moment but then smiling, she said, "Ahh I'd like coffee. I always enjoy its taste and it gives me more energy to continue the day."

Nerine had started eating as well and although she was quiet, she eyed Lycoris carefully all the time.

Matthew nodded happily and replied, "Coffee it is then."

He poured a cup of coffee for Lycoris and handing it to her, he said, "Be careful.  It's a bit hot although I'm sure you already know that."

Alex turned to Nerine and asked, "Would you like coffee or juice, darling?"

Lycoris nodded happily and replied, "Don't worry. I'll be careful."

She took the cup of coffee and after blowing into it a bit, she took a sip and happily said, "It is as delicious as ever."

Nerine replied, "Ahh I'll take juice, my Alex. Thanks."

Matthew took a sip of his coffee and replied, "Yup, it sure is.  Absolutely perfect."

Alex nodded happily and he handed a glass of juice to Nerine and said, "Here you are, darling."

As the party continued enjoying breakfast and each other's company, Lycoris asked,

"Umm so what are everyone's plans for the morning?"

She asked the question mainly to know whether Alex and Nerine planned to spend their time around them or not.

Alex looked thoughtful and replied, "We hadn't made any plans yet."

Matthew said, "Olivia's daughter is coming by this morning so perhaps the two of you would like to meet her?"

Nerine looked a bit curious and confused but not keeping it in, she replied, "Ahh who's Olivia?"

Matthew turned to Nerine and said, "Olivia is one of the maids here and she's been really great at looking after Lycoris."

He smiled softly at Lycoris.

(Random but I finally got to see Beauty and the Beast the other day.  It is a wonderful movie.  ^^)

(Coolies. ^^ I saw its trailer a couple of times already and I'd like to see it sometime soon although, for some reason, Emma Watson just doesn't feel like a princess to me, you know? Maybe I just got used to her being the strong, independent Hermoine that it is difficult to see her as anything else. XD)

Lycoris nodded happily and replied, "Yes, that's true. She is very kind and quite friendly. I am so lucky to have her take care of me."

Nerine didn't look quite interested but nodding, she said, "I see. Well, okay. I'd like to meet her sometime and her daughter as well."
