Romance RP

Olivia nodded and replied, "All right then.  Perhaps a light lunch of sandwiches, salad, and soup and I'll prepare a special dessert.  Maybe some ice cream with fresh cut strawberries or peaches on top?"

Helena replied, "That sounds wonderful."

Lycoris nodded in agreement and replied,

"Yup, it sure does. That sounds quite delicious and it would be wonderful, Olivia. Thank you very much."

Olivia replied, "Great.  I'll let the chefs know what to prepare for lunch so they can get started.  Please excuse me."

She got up and headed to the kitchen.

After Olivia left, Lycoris thought of something and then addressing Helena, she said,

"So Helena, are you married, engaged or anything like that? You're quite a talented and friendly person so I am sure any man would love to get to know you."

Helena shook her head and replied, "Oh no, I'm single.  I'm quite busy with the shop and when I'm not doing that, I spend time with Mom and my activities so there isn't room for a man in my life.  Also, I haven't met the right one yet although I'm sure he'll come along."

Lycoris nodded in understanding and replied,

"I understand. It's admirable that you were able to develop your own business and run it successfully. To achieve your dream, and continue working on what you love and enjoy. It's really a beautiful thing."

Helena blushed and replied, "Awww thank you, Lycoris.  That's very kind of you to say."

Matthew added, "Helena has been quite the ambitious one, especially after she found out that she had the talent for clothing design."

Lycoris nodded happily and replied,

"Clearly so. I really admire how she worked hard to achieve what she wanted and how she's working so hard to grow it. I really wish you the best, Helena. One day, maybe you can be the best fashion designer in the humans' world, designing clothes for the kings and queens."

Helena blushed deeply and replied, "Awww I don't know about that but that would be wonderful to be able to design for royalty one day."

Olivia returned to the living room and taking a seat, she said, "Ok, I've told the chefs what to make for lunch so they're getting on it.  They like the menu items, too."

Lycoris replied happily,

"That's great to hear. It looks like we're in for a treat today."

She paused then said, "I was just talking to Helena about how I hope she continues to grow and maybe one day, she can be a great fashion designer and she can design for even the royalty."

(Ahh I am studying at the moment so it will be a while before I log in again but I'll try to come on as soon as I can. XD)

(Ahh ok.  No worries.  XD)

Olivia nodded happily and replied, "Oh yes, I'm sure that Helena can do it but then I am pretty biased in the matter."

Helena blushed and replied, "Awww thanks.  Well, we'll see how things go.  I just want to run my shop and make beautiful dresses for the people at the moment."

Lycoris nodded in understanding and replied, "That's understandable. I wish you the best of luck, Helena."

She paused then asked, "Are you thinking about extending your work in the future? I mean, maybe opening other shops when you can afford it in other towns and such?"

(Sorry I am late. Had to have lunch and all before I could come on. ^^)

(Ahh it's ok.  ^^)

Helena looked thoughtful and replied, "I hadn't thought of it but perhaps if my shop becomes successful, I could look into expanding.  But that would mean having to compete with other shops."

Matthew replied, "That's true but you can do it.  Your designs are beautiful and other dresses I've seen don't come anywhere close to yours."

Lycoris nodded happily in agreement and replied,

"Yes and if you put in mind and work for it, I am sure you will be able to reach that dream and make it a reality. Then you could become really famous one day and maybe make a brand or something."

Helena looked thoughtful and replied, "I'd love that very much."

Matthew added, "And Dad would be very honored that he was the one to help you get your business off the ground."

Helena smiled and replied, "Yes, that's true.  Then I'll do it.  I'll work my hardest."

Lycoris nodded happily and replied, "I am happy you liked my suggestion. I really wish you the best, Helena."

A little later, Lady Penelope came into the room, looking a little down. But as she saw the party, she quickly put her smile and happily said,

"Sorry I am late, dears. I am back now." She saw Helena and warmly said, "Ahh darling, you must be Olivia's daughter, am I right?"

Olivia nodded happily and replied, "Yes, I am.  I'm Helena and you must be Lady Penelope, right?  Mom has told me about you as well."

She reached out to shake Lady Penelope's hand.

Meanwhile, Matthew had noticed the brief, passing look on Lady Penelope's face and quickly gave her one, wondering what had happened.

Lady Penelope nodded happily to Helena and as she shook hands with her, she replied,

"Yes, that's right, darling. I am happy to meet you. Your mom has told us quite a bit about you so I was personally very curious to get to know you."

She noticed Matthew's look but only smiled a bit to him, trying to show him that it was ok but she could tell him later.

Matthew nodded and understood Lady Penelope's message, remaining quiet.  Meanwhile, Helena replied,

"And I would love to get to know you.  I heard that you have a daughter as well.  I hope I get to meet her, too."

(I came back a little ago from college so I can post now. ^^)

Lady Penelope nodded and smiling softly to Helena, she replied,

"That's true, darling. I have a daughter that's a little older than you and Lycoris seem to be and she is my only child. She isn't around at the moment but maybe during lunch you can meet her."

(Ahh I see.  Welcome back.  ^^)

Helena nodded happily and replied, "I would love that very much.  Your place sure has been lively lately, Matt."

Matthew grinned and replied, "It sure has but I love it."

Lycoris giggled a little and replied, "I suppose we suddenly filled Matt's house but I am sure glad he doesn't mind. He's been nothing but very kind and generous to all of us and we truly appreciate it."

Helena smiled and replied, "That's Matt, and I'm sure your dad must be happy for the company, right, Matt?"

Matthew nodded and replied, "Yup, he sure is.  He'll be here for lunch and he'll love to catch up with you."

Lady Penelope turned to Helena and said,

"So darling, you design dresses and such and you own a dress shop in town, right? That's wonderful. I'd love to see some of your designs sometime."

Helena smiled and replied, "Then you're in luck.  I'm going to design two dresses for Lycoris and bring them over late tomorrow afternoon.  You'll get to see a sample of my designs then.  I could make some dresses for you as well as your daughter, if you wish."
