Romance RP

Lisianthus tried to calm down but it was quite difficult to keep her temper under check with yet another disaster happening. She replied, anger still in her voice,

"Because Alex contacted her and told her about our confrontation. He can't spy for her any longer and I guess she feared that he might spill everything he knew about her. So to protect herself, she kidnapped him and Nerine."

Ryan nodded slowly and replied, "Yes, that would make sense.  Now as to how the shapeshifter was able to kidnap them, that's a whole other story.  We should have a few people investigate the room to see if there are any clues."

Lisianthus took a deep breath and replied, "I guess. And I need to question my soldiers. There is no way such a fight took place and they were completely out of it."

She led the way out of the room and then to her office, where she would call for highly ranked soldiers to investigate the whole matter.

Ryan followed Lisianthus as they headed to her office.  Along the way, he decided to contact Irene to let her know what had happened, as he didn't want her to be kept in the dark.

Irene received Ryan's message and was quite shocked to receive the news. She let him know that she would be coming as soon as possible to Lisianthus' office.

At the office, Lisianthus took her seat and after Ryan was seated as well, she asked for her highly ranked soldiers to come immediately. As they waited for their arrival, she looked at Ryan with a troubled expression and said,

"We-we lost Alex and Nerine now too. The only clue we had to the shapeshifter and Lycoris..."

Ryan nodded sadly and replied, "Yeah."

Getting an idea, he said, "Maybe I can contact Alex and see if he can tell us where he is?"

Lisianthus' eyes lit up at the idea and nodding eagerly, she replied,

"Yes, yes, do that. If he can give us at least a clue to where he is, we can take it from there."

Ryan nodded and closing his eyes, he opened up the telepathy, attempting to communicate with Alex.  However, Alex wouldn't reply, as he knew that he couldn't tell Ryan and thus, Lisianthus where they all were.

(I just assumed that Alex wouldn't reply.  XD)

Lisianthus looked at Ryan eagerly, hoping that his conversation with Alex would be fruitful at all, and he would be able to find a clue at least to their location.

Ryan continued with his tries but as there was no answer, he finally shut off the telepathy and looking sadly at Lisianthus, he said,

"Alex isn't replying.  I'm guessing that something is preventing him from being able to reply."

Lisianthus looked worried and furrowing her eyebrows, she replied,

"That devil of a shapeshifter couldn't have hurt him, could she? Is that why he can't respond?"

Ryan furrowed his eyebrows and replied, "Possibly although it's more likely that the shapeshifter probably blocked Alex from communicating.  I know that such spells are possible."

Lisianthus sighed and replied, "I sure hope that's just the case although I can't help but worry. That shapeshifter must have been quite furious to kidnap them like that. After all, it sounds like they were about to betray her or something."

She shook her head in frustration.

Ryan nodded and replied, "Yeah, that sure does sound to be the case."

He sighed sadly, as he had hoped for good news but yet there was only bad.

(Random but I have a bit of a headache.  Guess it must be from the stress of today.  I'll still keep posting, though, unless it gets really bad.)

Lisianthus sighed as well although she said nothing further, and soon enough, a couple of soldiers knocked on the door and entered the office. They were high-ranked soldiers responsible for other soldiers of the castle.

Lisianthus told them about their discovery and ordered for the investigation to be made immediately, and that every single soldier get questioned about the matter.

(Ok.  It's a bit early to go to sleep now but I'll stay up at least to game a bit and to watch Star Wars.  Then I'll see how things go.  ^^)

Ryan stood by Lisianthus as she gave her orders to the soldiers.  He hoped that the investigation would prove fruitful and that they would find any clues as to where Alex and Nerine could have been taken.

The soldiers replied that they would do as commanded, and Lisianthus said that she wanted the investigation to be finished by the night at most. She then gave permission for the soldiers to take their leave and they did.

Taking a breath, she said, "I hope something comes out of that."

Ryan nodded and replied, "Me, too, and you know that I will help as well.  Hmm, we should inform the king and queen of Devenshire.  Assuming that the shapeshifter is there, Alex and Nerine will probably be with her and therefore, there as well."

(Sorry for the slow posting btw. I was taking care of some things around the house although I should be done now. XD)

Lisianthus nodded and replied, "I guess so. I'll contact them now then. They should know what's going on."

She closed her eyes and used her telepathy to contact the royal couple of Devenshire.

(Ahh no worries.  ^^)

Ryan waited while Lisianthus made contact with the king and queen.  The couple received Lisianthus' message and asked her what had happened, as they didn't have any news to give her.

Lisianthus replied that she had news, but bad ones, unfortunately. She told them about how she had confronted Alex and Nerine earlier during the day but only discovered their kidnapping recently and how the shapeshifter was responsible for it. She begged them to help out, and increase the efforts to find the shapeshifter, Lycoris and probably Alex and Nerine as well.

The king and queen were alarmed to hear the news, especially that a couple of their people were kidnapped.  The king promised Lisianthus that he would triple efforts to search for everyone and that his soldiers would search everywhere to find them.

Lisianthus was glad that the king and queen were cooperative as they heard the news and thanked them very much, pleading them to let her know of any updates.

After she closed the line of telepathy with them, she opened her eyes and looking at Ryan, she said,

"Ok, I let them know. I guess Alex and Nerine getting kidnapped is a pretty big deal to them since they were especially alarmed to hear of it but anyhow, they promised to tripe the efforts to find them."

Ryan nodded and replied, "That's good.  I can understand them being alarmed since Alex and Nerine are residents of Devenshire.  I hope their efforts will be fruitful."

Lisianthus nodded and replied, "Me too."

Just then, there was a knock on the door and as Lisianthus gave permission, the door opened and Irene entered. Looking worried, she said,

"I came as soon as I could. Ryan told me what happened. Were you able to do anything?"
