Romance RP

Matthew shook his head and said,

"You wouldn't be troubling anyone at all, especially not me.  I'd really love to stay with you for the night unless you'd rather that I don't?"

Ryan nodded and replied, "Yup, it is and you should eat something.  We can just eat here by ourselves."

Lycoris was silent for a moment as she thought about it, then finally replied as she looked quite shy,

"You-you really wouldn't mind if you stayed with me for the night? I-I mean, I don't wish to trouble Olivia with yet another task and all."

Lisianthus nodded and rang the bell for a maid then after one came, she asked her to fetch dinner, and the maid left to do so immediately.

Matthew smiled softly and replied, "I would consider it an honor to stay with you, Lycoris."

As the couple waited for dinner, Ryan said, "After we eat, we'll go see Alex and Nerine and find out where Lycoris is.  And I'll keep trying to communicate with her, too.  I won't give up."

Lycoris smiled shyly and replied,

"Thanks, Matt. It's quite kind of you to say that and I really hope it isn't troublesome at all to you."

Lisianthus nodded and after taking a deep breath, she smiled a bit at Ryan and said,

"Thanks for your support, cutie. I don't know what I would have done without you."

(Random but do you think I sounded angry in my Steam status?  Someone commented about it and that annoyed me since I honestly didn't think that I sounded angry.  Annoyed, yeah, but that doesn't mean I'm angry.  lol)

Matthew shook his head and replied, "It isn't any trouble at all.  There are some extra pillows and blankets in the closet.  I'll take them out and make myself comfortable on the sofa."

He walked to the closet and took out a couple of pillows and blankets.

Ryan smiled softly at Lisianthus and replied, "You'll always have me, beautiful.  I'll always be by your side."

(Ahh I just read it and I do think you just sounded annoyed and in all fairness, I think you have a right to. XD The commenter might not have meant it literally though. He just didn't word it right and all. XD)

Lycoris smiled gratefully and replied,

"Thank you, Matt. I truly appreciate this. Umm I'll feel a lot better and safer myself with you close to me."

Lisianthus returned Ryan's smile and soon enough, the maid returned with dinner. After she was allowed entrance, she laid dinner down on a table then took her leave.

(Yeah.  He didn't comment further after I clarified it.  I just don't like when people assume things when they could simply ask.  In case you're curious as to what the prize would have been for the contest, it was 5000 USD so yeah, it would have been a big deal and I think I'm a pretty good writer so I would have had a decent shot at it and all.)

Matthew smiled softly and replied, "And I'll feel better being by your side, Lycoris."

He finished arranging the pillows and blankets and then added, "We should get some sleep but do you want anything before we do so?  Some water?"

Ryan helped Lisianthus into her seat and then taking his seat, he commented, "Dinner smells delicious and we should have our fill."

(Aww I see. I totally understand but I do think that yeah, in order to keep the quality of the entries decent, some contests prefer the applicants to be in US/Canada so that English is their native language and all although hmm, when you think about it, one could be very well an immigrant there or something and still enroll. That wouldn't ensure that English is their native language and all.)

Lycoris nodded and replied,

"Yes, some water would be great then we can turn in for the night. Thank you, Matt."

Lisianthus nodded and followed Ryan to the table where they took their seats and started eating. Although Lisianthus didn't have much appetite, she knew she had to eat as she needed the energy.

(Yeah, and like here, there are plenty of people who can communicate well in English.  Also, where Folke is, most of the people are very good at communicating in English so yeah, I think such assumptions about other countries shouldn't be made.  It's not worth griping to the contest holders about.  I just think it's stupid.)

Matthew nodded happily and replied, "No problem.  I'll be right back."

He quickly left the room to head to the kitchen to get two glasses of water for them.

As Ryan ate, he wanted to make some sort of conversation with Lisianthus although he didn't know what to bring up.  So he continued to eat, hoping that things would turn out better."

(Yup, I totally agree. XD)

Lycoris waited for Matthew and despite all the excitement, she felt happy and peaceful. Matthew was quite a kind and gentle man and he was very caring that she felt like she was in the safest place in the world.

Lisianthus didn't know what to say as well but she continued to eat, getting her energy. She really hoped that Alex and Nerine would finally answer them, as it would solve a lot of things.

She was eventally finished eating, having eaten about half of her food.

Matthew soon returned, carrying two glasses of water.  Handing a glass to Lycoris, he happily said, 

"Here you are, Lycoris."

Ryan soon finished his meal although he had ended up eating it all.  Seeing that Lisianthus didn't eat as much, he asked,

"Are you full, beautiful?"

Lycoris took the glass of water from Matthew and smiling softly, she said, "Thanks, Matt."

She then drank its content, feeling the cool water refreshing her as it went down her throat.

Lisianthus nodded and replied, "Yeah, I am full."

Seeing how Ryan was all done, she said, "If you are finished, we should head to Alex and Nerine. Hopefully they can finally answer our questions."

Matthew took his own glass and drank the water, feeling its coolness soothe his throat.  Then he took Lycoris' empty glass and his and placed them on a nearby table.  He smiled gently at Lycoris and said,

"I wish you the most wonderful of dreams, Lycoris, and I look forward to seeing you tomorrow."

He leaned in to give her a gentle kiss on the cheek.

Ryan nodded and replied, "Yup, I'm done."

He got up and helping Lisianthus to her feet, he escorted her to Alex's and Nerine's room, unaware that they were gone.

Lycoris blushed but smiling softly, she replied,

"Good night, Matt. Sweet dreams and I look forward to seeing you tomorrow as well."

She reached out and kissed him gently on the cheek as well.

Lisianthus led the way to Alex's and Nerine's room and after taking a deep breath, she knocked on the door and said,

"Alex, Nerine, it's us. Are you in there?"

Matthew blushed and then he approached the sofa, lying down on it and covering himself with the blankets, soon falling asleep.

Ryan didn't hear anything on the other side of the door and commented, "That's unusual.  They should be in their room, shouldn't they?"

(Getting sleepy here so I'll get off for the night now and go to sleep.  I'll check back tomorrow and post again.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

(Nite, nite, phoenix. ^^ And I'll continue with Lisianthus' and Ryan's part for now until it's morning for Lycoris and Matthew. XD)

Lisianthus furrowed her eyebrows and replied, "Yeah. It's not like them to leave their room at this time of the day."

Thinking quickly, her hand slowly went over the knob and as the door wasn't locked, it opened. She glanced at Ryan, wondering if they should go inside.

(Ok.  XD)

Ryan nodded and together, the two of them opened the door.  He was shocked at the mess the room was in and slowly asked,

"What happened here?"

Lisianthus was taken aback by the sight of the room and was unable to process everything for a moment. Shocked, she said,

"What-what is this? Where are they and why is the room in such a mess? It's almost as though a fight broke out here or something."

Ryan nodded and replied, "Yeah, it looks like it.  What should we do?"

He turned to Lisianthus for help.

(I read your Facebook status earlier and I just want to say that I'm sorry things are going bad.  Things aren't great for me, either, but I'm here for you if you want me to be.   )

(Aww thanks, phoenix. Yeah, things have been quite stressful lately although I am trying to manage. And needless to say, I am always here if you ever need me as well. ^^)

Lisianthus felt lost, as she had no idea what to do. Just then, she received a message from the shapeshifter and turning to Ryan, she said,

"Hang on. It's the shapeshifter."

She closed her eyes as she replied to her, wanting to know what she wanted.

Ryan waited anxiously, wondering why the shapeshifter was contacting Lisianthus.  Could it have to do with Alex's and Nerine's disappearance?  He could only wait as Lisianthus communicated with her.

Lisianthus kept in contact with the shapeshifter for a few minutes, before she opened her eyes again, anger and rage filling them. Her hands made into fists, she stomped her foot on the ground angrily as she groaned and said,

"That devil of a shapeshifter...she kidnapped them! She took them away!"

Ryan looked shocked as Lisianthus told him what the shapeshifter had told her and replied,

"What?!  But how?"

He did admit to himself that it did explain the mess in the room.

Lisianthus groaned angrily and looking around the room, she said,

"Isn't it obvious how?! But how-how could this be? Where were the soldiers? Such a mess...there must have been some noise at least and my soldiers did nothing to stop it!?"

She was quite frustrated and angry at this, as Alex and Nerine were taken right from the inside of her very own castle.

Ryan looked alarmed as he saw how angry Lisianthus was and wrapping his arms around her, he said,

"Calm down, Sia.  Listen-we'll get them back.  We just have to figure things out, right?  I mean, first off, why did she kidnap them?"
