Romance RP

Alex gave Nerine a cute look and said, "I wonder what you'll make for dinner but I suppose you want to keep it a surprise, right, darling?"

Nerine nodded happily and looking lovingly at Alex, she said,

"That's right. I'm still thinking of what to make although I will make sure it's going to be totally delicious."

She paused then a little sadly, she continued quietly, "If only Sia would feel a little better and cheer up. She would have loved to help out and we could eat all together. It's been a while since we did that."

Alex gently patted Nerine's hands and replied, "We'd all want that, darling.  But perhaps you could set aside some of your food for Sia so she can have it in her room."

Bryan nodded and replied, "That's a good idea.  I'm sure Sia would appreciate the gesture, Nerine."

Nerine smiled at the idea and nodding, she said, "Of course, I'll do that."

The party continued having their lunch and soon, Rosaline, Avi and Nerine were finishing up their food.

Alex, Bryan, and Ryan soon finished up their food as well.  Getting up, Ryan said, "I'm going to check up on Sia and see how she's doing."

Alex took the opportunity to communicate telepathically with Ryan and asked him if he could talk to him alone for a few minutes.  Ryan was surprised but agreed, telling him to meet him in his room.  Ryan then left the dining room and headed to his room.

Then Alex turned to Nerine and telepathically communicated,

I talked to Ryan and he's agreed to meet with me for a few minutes.  Do you want to wait in our room while I talk to him?

Nerine replied telepathically,

Okay. I'll go to the kitchen to talk with the cooks first but you will find me waiting for you in our room. Let me how it goes, ok? Good luck.

Alex replied,

I will, darling.


As Alex had finished his food, he got up and said, "There's something I need to take care of so please excuse me."

He got up and bowed and then went upstairs to Ryan's room to talk to him.

Shortly after Alex left, Nerine excused herself as well and left the room, heading to the kitchen in order to talk to the cooks. Inwardly, she hoped that Alex would be able to talk to Ryan and convince him to find a way to get Lycoris' location, as she was worried that things might get out of hand if the shapeshifter decided to take action on her own.

Meanwhile, Alex and Ryan were talking, with Alex asking Ryan if he could talk to Lisianthus about Lycoris.  Although Ryan knew where Lycoris was, he wasn't sure whether to divulge that information to Alex, as that, in itself, would cause problems.  However, he told Alex that he would talk to Lisianthus about the situation and after Alex thanked him, Alex left the room and headed back to his and Nerine's room to talk over what had happened.

Once Ryan was alone, he used his telepathy and contacting Irene, he said,

Duchess Irene, I'm sorry to disturb you but may I talk to you for a few minutes?

Irene received Ryan's message and wondering if something had come up, she replied,

Yes, Ryan. What's the matter? Is everything ok?

Ryan replied,

Alex talked to me just now and I wanted to confer this with you before proceeding further.  I don't know what to do.


He then told Irene about his conversation with Alex, about how Alex wanted him to talk to Lisianthus about Lycoris' location or else the shapeshifter would take matters into her own hands.

Irene looked troubled as she heard about this news from Ryan, and she too felt lost over how to act. After thinking about the matter for a few moments, she then replied,

This is worrisome. Obviously, you can't just tell her about Lycoris' location as this would destroy any hopes of fixing your relationship with Lisianthus but you can't just ignore her either. You haven't talked this out with Lisianthus yet, have you?

Ryan replied,

No, I haven't but I have no idea how I'd bring this up with Sia without telling her that it was Melody who revealed Lycoris' location to me.  It's a huge risk to tell her, don't you think?


(I'm making a post but I'm in a bad mood.  Got into an argument with my bf.  I won't go into the details but the basic gist is that he thinks it's ok to do what he wants without telling me.  Well, here's what I mean.  For example, when we were video chatting earlier, he suddenly left without telling me and he was gone for more than 30 minutes.  When I asked him about it, he said it was because I wasn't paying attention to him but I was.  I was just sleepy and I'm not talkative until a certain point in the day.  And I think it was his fault for not telling me how he felt because geez, it's not like I can read minds.  -.-  But yeah, it was things like that and he thinks it's ok to be rude around me but I certainly don't.  At least I'm not crying.  Just ticked off at him because he thinks it's ok for him to do whatever he wants while I drop things for him and it's like my efforts don't matter.  I just need to cool off and be by myself for tonight but I don't want you to worry.  This might be a good thing since I can focus on myself only for the time being although he came to the conclusion that I want to break up with him when that's not true but whatever.  Anyway, I'll make at least one more post before I go to bed so I'll be back then.)

(Ahh I see. I totally understand and try to calm down, okay? As you said, it might be actually a good thing since you can take a break and just relax by yourself. I won't comment on how he behaved although I can definitely understand your annoyance. -.- Anyways, take your time and I totally understand. I hope you feel better soon.  )

Irene replied,

Yes, I definitely understand what you mean but...perhaps you don't have to reveal to her that you know where Lycoris is? I mean, you could tell her about what Alex told you and that you're concerned for her safety since that shapeshifter would probably try to go after her first thing if she didn't obtain the information about Lycoris' location. 

(Thanks.  Well, he did insist on talking to me and we sort of resolved things although he didn't apologize.  Honestly, though, I don't think I was in the wrong.  I'm not saying that he needs to have me approve everything he does but when it involves the two of us together, then yeah.  At least he hasn't behaved like my mother yet.  If he does that, then I definitely won't take that and I'll just end it.  But I don't know.  I'm thinking of making an excuse to be by myself for a few days.  Is it kind of bad of me to say that I'm really looking forward to my dad coming back late next week since I'll have to go back to my old schedule then and my bf and I won't have as much time to spend with each other then?  O.O)

Ryan thought about Irene's suggestion and replied,

Yes, that certainly could work but what do you think Sia would do?  Would she try to have Lycoris moved?

(Hmm I don't think it's bad but it seems to me that well, you don't have the same feelings that you had for him in the beginning anymore, not as strongly at least? I'm not one to judge that of course since only you can tell but it's the impression I'm getting and to be honest, his recent actions wouldn't help one bit. It's like he's been making a lot of trouble between you two lately, you know? I mean, I don't see anything wrong with what you think and I can't imagine that asking him not to be rude around you would be much to ask. Come on, it should be the natural thing to do in the first place. I don't get how he thinks. O.O But yeah, if you can make an excuse to be by yourself for a couple of days at least, it might help you cool off and all.)

Irene was thoughtful then she replied,

Well, unless she suspects that someone has found out about Lycoris' location, I don't think she would do that. So far, Lisianthus believes that no one knows about where Lycoris is except for herself and the head healer, so she wouldn't have reason to move her unless, well, you tell her that you know as well. 

(Thanks.  Well, the two of us talked things over earlier today and it got kind of crazy.  We broke up and then several minutes later, we got back together.  But yeah, we do understand each other better now and we're taking your advice about not spending so much time together.  It had become a job/chore for us to do that so instead, we'll just go about our lives as we did before we started spending a lot of time with each other and then talk whenever we feel up to doing so.  ^^)

Ryan replied,

I see.  Well, I'm certainly not going to to tell her that I know so your suggestion is a good one.  I don't want Sia to be in danger because that shapeshifter is getting desperate to find out where Lycoris is.

(Ahh that would be better. I mean, it would give you a chance to miss each other at least and all. XD)

Irene replied,

Yes, that would be the right thing to do. Please let me know how things go and oh, please don't forget to talk to her about that secret group thing, ok? I know I'm probably burdening you with another trouble but this is equally important if we're talking about Lisianthus' safety.

(Ahh yeah, that's true.  XD)

Ryan replied,

Of course.  I plan to bring it up with Sia as well, provided that she's well enough to be able to hear the news.  Her safety comes first and foremost for me.

Irene smiled a bit to herself at Ryan's comment and replied,

I understand. I trust your judgement, Ryan. Let me know how it works out and good luck.

(Back and finally free now.  ^^)

Ryan replied, 

I will.  I'll go check on Sia now and then let you know how things go.


He shut off the telepathy and left his room, heading to Lisianthus' room.  Once there, he knocked softly on the door and waited for a response.

As Ryan knocked on Lisianthus' door, there was no response. However, one of the soldiers standing at her door bowed to him and said,

"Sir, Her Majesty isn't inside. She left the room a while ago but I think you'll find her in the gardens."

Ryan nodded and thanked the guard and then he headed to the gardens.  Along the way, he felt relieved that Lisianthus seemed to be better so the soup he had suggested that she take was definitely taking effect.

Indeed, Lisianthus was relaxing in one of the far corners of the gardens, hoping to be away from everyone else, especially Ryan. Sitting peacefully under a tree by herself, she felt a lot better indeed physically thanks to Ryan's soup although emotionally, it was another story.

Ryan looked around in the gardens and finally found Lisianthus relaxing.  Although he didn't want to disturb her, he had news that couldn't wait so quietly, he approached her and bowing in greeting, he quietly said,

"Hi, Sia.  I'm sorry to disturb.  How are you?  Feeling better?"
