Romance RP

Ryan was alarmed, as he knew that the other Lycoris was taking over although he had no idea how.  Immediately, he ran towards Lycoris and putting his arms around her, he asked,

"What are you doing?  I know it's you in there.  Talk to me."

(Getting sleepy here so I'll get off for the night now and go to sleep.  I'll check back tomorrow and post again.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

The shapeshifter had run to her mother's side, who was knocked unconscious by the hit. Meanwhile, Lycoris maintained the same cold expression over her face, and coldly replied to Ryan,

"Let go of me. I've had enough of you all. I won't let you do this."

Ryan held on to Lycoris and replied, "Please, I know how angry you must feel right now but you can't do this.  It's what she wants and-"

Alex suddenly interrupted by yelling, "You let our Lycoris go right now, impostor!"

Ryan sighed to himself, as he thought that Alex's outburst wasn't helping the situation.

Lycoris laughed sarcastically over Alex's outburst and then coldly replied,

"Forget about that weak self of mine. She can't even hear you any longer so don't bother and don't even try reaching out to her and all that nonsense. It's over. I won't let you do this to me!"

Alex was about to reply angrily when Ryan gave him a sharp look, silently indicating that he shouldn't say anything.  Ryan then turned his attention back to the other Lycoris and looking gently at her, he said,

"Why have you done with her?"

Lycoris coldly replied,

"I am not obliged to tell you anything and don't you dare try to play nice and gentle to me. Everything is over between us. I thought I could trust you, depend on you, but you failed me just like everyone else. So your tricks and games won't go on me any longer."

Ryan looked hurt and quietly replied, "Is that because you believe that I abandoned you?  Is that what you think of me?  If so, you're judging without giving me a chance to explain things to you."

Lycoris was starting to lose her temper and angrily replied,

"Explain? Explain what? Explain that you didn't come to rescue me a long time ago, and that I was on the verge of dying because of you?! Hah! Nothing can explain anything to me. If you are about to plead that you were trying to fix things with the other Lycoris then fine but she isn't here anymore."

Ryan replied, "What do you mean by that?  Is she-is she...?"

He trailed off, unsure of what to say when Alex angrily said, "Did you kill her?  Did you?  Because if you did, I swear..."

Lycoris smirked, and replied,

"Maybe? Would it matter to you? Weren't you about to do exactly the same thing? Anyhow, she is gone and yes, she is gone forever. Deal with that."

Ryan quietly replied, "What do you mean?  What did you do to her?  You-you didn't hurt her, did you?  She's never hurt you even though she's never liked you.  Just-just tell us what you did."

He was worried that something terrible had happened to the real Lycoris and that there might not be a way to bring her back.

Lycoris frowned and her anger rising, she replied, 

"I told you; it's like I killed her. You can say I killed her if that's simpler to you. I could have tried to retake control earlier but I would have been wasting energy and power. I saved up to this moment, to when I can regain control and have her never take it back again.  That's what happened. Your Lycoris is now too weak to even hear us or be aware of anything that's happening. Do you understand? She will soon disappear forever."

Ryan replied, "But why?  Why did you have to go this far?  Is it because you truly believe that neither of you would survive this ritual?  Because if so, you don't know that."

He reached out to gently touch Lycoris' cheek, hoping against odds that he could somehow get through to her.

Lycoris harshly pushed Ryan's hand away and replied angrily,

"I am not giving anything to chance. If you're talking about love and feelings and whatnot, I don't care anymore about them. How dare you even talk to me about love when you abandoned me when I begged you to save me?"

Ryan replied, "It-it was complicated.  But you knew that I always loved you as well as the Lycoris you've weakened.  Don't you?  You've known that I've cared for both of you even though you two were very different."

Lycoris gave Ryan a look that had almost hatred and replied coldly,

"I thought that, but I was wrong. I was terribly wrong. You only care about her. You care what she wants. Or perhaps you like the queen more, and you wanted to get rid of both of us? You don't mean anything more, Ryan. Get it? You failed me, just like everyone else."

Ryan shook his head and replied, "No, that isn't true.  I know what you must be thinking.  Why didn't I come for you when you first told me where you were?  I'd think the answer would have been obvious but since it isn't, I didn't want to complicate things by telling Sia that Alex was involved.  And as for what was about to happen, I wouldn't have let either of you die.  I would have found a way.  I had to time things right but then you took control..."

He said these latter words in almost a whisper.

Lycoris laughed sarcastically over Ryan's words but then she slowly frowned and angrily replied,

"Time things right?! I was about to get sacrificed there and you were watching! Is that what you cared about?! Alex! That jerk, that traitor who sold us out the first time, you endangered me and my life for him! I can't believe this. Your excuse is even worse. Stop trying to explain things. I am done with you."

Ryan looked pleadingly at the other Lycoris and sadly replied,

"What can I do?  Tell me, what can I do to make this up to you?  Please, I love you.  I love both of you.  I want to make things right if I can."

Lycoris groaned angrily and replied,

"Nothing. I don't want anything from you any longer. You must forget about me and forget about the other Lycoris because she isn't coming back. As for me, you might as well pretend that I was just sacrificed successfully."

As Ryan continued to talk to the other Lycoris, he communicated telepathically with Alex,

Go to Lady Penelope.  See if she's all right and can still perform the spell.


Alex nodded and hurried over to Lady Penelope and the shapeshifter.

Lady Penelope was unconscious, as Lycoris' powerful attack had knocked her out. The shapeshifter was by her side although she was eyeing the couple from far and groaning angrily at Lycoris. As she saw Alex approaching to check over them, she said,

"That jerk hurt her. She's been unconscious since."

Alex looked worried and replied, "What can we do?  Ryan wants to know if it's still possible for Lady Penelope to perform the spell.  I can't be certain but he might have a plan."

The shapeshifter groaned angrily and replied, "She won't be able to, obviously. She isn't even conscious."

She paused then said, "Knock her out. We can do this later if we have to but we mustn't let her get away."

Alex replied, "But how?  I-I know that it's the impostor in charge but it's still Lycoris' body and I don't want to hurt her if I can help it."
