Romance RP

Lisianthus looked thoughtful then shaking her head, she said,

"Nothing on my part unless you can think of something else?"

Nerine looked relieved and nodding, she said, "I admit you had me fooled. I was scared there for a moment."

She paused then smiling weakly at Helena, she said, "He seemed all head over heels for you though. I guess you are a pretty great actress."

Ryan looked thoughtful and then shaking his head, he replied, "No, I can't think of anything else.  I guess we should have that meeting with the soldiers now?"

Helena smiled and quietly replied, "Thanks, but really, we should keep talk of that quiet as much as possible.  After all, we never know when the captain will drop by here again although I doubt it'll be too soon since he's off seeing to preparations.

In the meantime, we should have food soon and you really should try to eat.  Maybe it'll be easier with me right next to you."

Lisianthus nodded and replied, "Okay, I'll request the captain's presence."

She rang a bell for the herald, and once he came, she told him to fetch the soldiers'captain and he left to do as commanded.

Nerine looked distressed at the mention of food and feeling sick all over again, she said,

"Don't press me, Helena. I-I can't eat. Just thinking of it makes me feel sick."

As Ryan and Lisianthus waited, Ryan commented,

"I'm glad you have loyal soldiers with you, Sia, and I'll be with you, too, always."

He smiled softly at her.

Helena furrowed her eyebrows and replied, "But you must eat something.  You'll only get weaker.  Nerine, when was the last time you ate anything?"

She was worried about Nerine's health and was distressed about how to best help her.

(Getting sleepy here so I'll go to bed now but I'll post again tomorrow and all.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Lisianthus returned Ryan's smile and replied, "I do but as long as I have you by my side, cutie, then that's all I need. Your support makes me the strongest woman in any world, you know."

She winked happily at him. A little later, there was a knock on the door and the herald announced the arrival of the soldiers' captain. He entered the room and bowed respectfully to the couple then said,

"You requested my presence, Your Majesty."

Lisianthus nodded and replied, "That's right. We're about to take care of a large mission and I need your help to put a perfect strategy and to align your soldiers."

Nerine was silent for a moment but then she quietly replied,

"It-it was that ice cream we ate right before the captain took us away. And I...I tried to have something yesterday afternoon during lunch but it didn't stay in my stomach."

Ryan nodded and added, "We've already put a plan in place but you can help us finalize the details.  We need this plan to be as successful as possible."

Helena nodded and replied, "I see.  Nerine, do you know what devil women usually eat when they're pregnant?  I know how it is with human females but I'm a bit out of my depth here.  If there are certain foods that'll help stay in your stomach better, we should try to get those."

The soldiers' captain nodded and replied, "Of course. What kind of mission is it and what is the plan?"

Lisianthus explained everything to him, starting with the goal of the mission and its location and how they planned to do things, with a group of soldiers sneaking into the mansion while they distracted the captain and his soldiers.

Nerine shook her head and replied, "I have no idea. I-I had no pregnant relatives so I don't have any experience or information either."

Just then, there was a knock on the door and a maid entered with a tray of food. There was breakfast for Helena and Nerine, which was freshly prepared and hot. The maid then bowed and took her leave.

Ryan stood aside while Lisianthus explained the plan to the current captain.  Then he waited for feedback before deciding to say anything more.

After the maid left, Helena got up and took her share of food.  She then returned to Nerine's side and eating, she said,

"I see.  Well, let's think of something.  Are there certain tastes you feel more in the mood for?  Like a craving for sweet foods or salty foods or...?"

Lisianthus finished explaining their plan to the soldiers' captain, and after he had listened carefully, he nodded and said,

"A solid plan. I shall send one of my stealthy soldiers now to investigate the mansion from far. We need to study its ins and outs and determine the best route of entrance."

Nerine shook her head again and replied, "I am not craving anything. I-I just don't want to eat so I don't feel sick again."

She covered herself with the blanket, as though she was hiding away from the mention of food.

Ryan nodded and replied, "That sounds good.  We need to find its weakest point.  That'll be our best chance for attack."

Helena sighed sadly to herself.  She continued to eat her food and thought that after she was done, she would ring for the healer and consult with him over Nerine's condition.  Nerine definitely needed to eat something and Helena was worried about her.

Lisianthus nodded in approval and said, "It's a good start. Get your soldier out there then, captain. I want a report ready by afternoon. The plan is to move after sunrise."

The soldiers' captain nodded and after bowing respectfully, he took his leave.

Nerine was quiet for a few moments then opening her eyes, she looked at Helena and quietly asked,

"Did anyone of our friends try contacting you after what happened last night?"

After the soldiers' captain left, Ryan turned to Lisianthus and asked, "In the meantime, what should we do?"

Helena shook her head and replied, "If they did, I didn't hear them.  I passed out after what happened last night.  The captain confronted me and then I panicked and lost consciousness.  But I'm ok now."

Lisianthus turned to Ryan and replied, 

"Let's go to the others? You're right we should at least drop by but we won't tell them anything. We can just say that we are gathering information about the captain's place for now."

Despite her condition, Nerine looked worried about Helena and replied, 

"Why is that? What-what happened? Did that captain hurt you? He-he did, didn't he?" 

She looked panicked, as Helena might be hiding something from her.

Ryan nodded and replied, "Ok, that sounds good."

He felt that Lisianthus should take the lead, especially if the others were to ask questions.

Immediately, Helena shook her head and replied, "No, he didn't.  He just confronted me, accusing me of revealing our location to the others when they've hardly contacted me at all.  But he didn't touch me.  I promise.  I just panicked and collapsed, but you see that I'm ok now.  I'm more worried about you."

Lisianthus nodded and replied, "Ok, let's go then. I'll summon the portal in the chapel and we can head to them."

She got up and waited for Ryan to do the same so they could head to the chapel then travel to the humans' world.

Nerine calmed down a bit and taking her breathes, she quietly replied,

"I-I'll be ok. Please be careful around that captain, Helena. You see, he can't be trusted. He turned on you the moment he just thought you might have betrayed him."

Ryan nodded and getting up, he followed Lisianthus to the chapel, so that Lisianthus could summon the portal to the human world.

Helena nodded and replied, "I know and I'm being more careful.  I promise.  Please, Nerine, you should focus on getting better yourself first.  I'll be ok.  I just wish I could find a way to get you out of here."

Lisianthus and Ryan soon made it to the chapel and after taking a deep breath, she summoned the portal to the humans' world. She looked tired as she did though, as it was taking a toll on her to summon the portal multiple times in a short time.

Nerine nodded and and softly replied, "I-I am doing my best. I want to be better for my baby. I am just scared."

She tried to hold back her tears although it was difficult.

(Ok, I finished editing for today since I got quite a lot done.  I'll be here for a bit although I'll go to sleep early because I have to wake up early tomorrow for holidays with family and all that.  XD)

Ryan looked at Lisianthus and could see how tired she was.  Looking at her with worry, he asked,

"Sia, are you ok?  Let's rest when we get to my place, ok?"

Helena had finished eating and wrapping her arms around Nerine, she hugged her and gently said,

"It's going to be ok.  You have to try to think positive, for you and the baby.  You have to believe that you'll be back home, safe and sound, soon."

(No problem. XD)

Lisianthus quickly smiled to Ryan and replied, 

"I am fine. It's just that summoning this portal requires a huge amount of magic and I don't use magic that often so it tires me out quickly. I am fine though."

She did her best to hide her tiredness then led the way through the portal.

Nerine returned Helena's hug although she was breaking down. She weakly replied, 

"I-I'll try. I'll try to be optimistic. The others will come and rescue us soon or maybe-maybe they just hand Lycoris over. Why can't they just do that? She-she isn't more important than me, is she?"

Ryan followed Lisianthus as they went through the portal and soon, they were back in the human world, near Ryan's place.  He turned to Lisianthus and said, 

"Ok, let's go to my place and I'll make you some coffee.  That might help."

Helena replied, "Of course not.  I'm sure everyone is going through all options.  If I had to guess, I'd say that rescue is the most likely although I have talked to Lycoris a couple of times.  She'll have heard of what happened and she'll very likely just want to turn herself over, to save everyone the trouble.  Whether the others will let her is the question."

Lisianthus smiled to Ryan and replied, "Ok, I guess. I really am fine though so don't worry about me, ok?"

She then followed Ryan to his place, wondering how the others were.

Nerine furrowed her eyebrows and shaking her head, she replied, 

"No, it-it seems like you were fooled by Lycoris just like everyone else is. She isn't the angel she seems to be. I-I bet she's happy I am taken away. She's probably having Alex all to herself now."

She looked even more stressed at the thought.

Ryan took the lead, opening up the barrier to his place so he and Lisianthus could go through.  They then saw Lady Penelope outside and smiling to her, Ryan said,

"Hello, my lady.  Sorry we're late."

Helena gently rubbed Nerine's back and replied, "You mustn't think such things and besides, if that were true, Alex and the others wouldn't have come here last night trying to get you, right?  Just try to think positive and focus on your health.  You'll need to be strong, right?"

Lady Penelope smiled at the couple and replied, 

"Hello, dears. No problem. I understand you must have been busy or something. Were you able to come up with anything?"

Lisianthus let Ryan do the talking, as she couldn't really stand Lady Penelope, not even enough to talk to her.

Nerine took a deep breath and trying to calm down, she replied, 

"Yes, you-you're right. I need to calm down and try not to think of any bad things."

She took deep breathes, trying not to panic.

Ryan replied, "Sia's soldiers are out gathering information about the captain's place, scouting around.  That's really all we can do for now."

He didn't like lying to Lady Penelope but he wanted to go along with Lisianthus' plan not to tell the others of their actual plan.

Helena continued to hug Nerine and said,

"Maybe you'd like a little water?  It's important to keep hydrated, right?"

Lady Penelope sighed and nodding, she said, "I guess that's really all we can do for now. I hope they find something useful."

She paused then said, "The others are inside. I think Alex and Lycoris are in the living room."

Nerine nodded and replied, "Yes, it would help. Thanks."

She laid back in bed and tried to relax, as she was starting to feel sick again.
