(Nite, nite, phoenix. ^^)

Avi sighed sadly and replied, "Now what?"

Rosaline looked worriedly and commented, "I guess we have no choice but to wait for Ryan to wake up. Maybe he can tell us what happened between them and have a clue over where Sia is."

As the others were talking, Ryan woke up.  He looked around and noticed the others but realized that Lisianthus was missing.  Searching in worry, he asked,

"Where's Sia?  Where's my beautiful?"

Rosaline quickly went to Ryan's side and holding his hand, she patted it gently and replied,

"Hey, Ryan. Calm down, alright? How are you feeling at the moment?"

Ryan looked at Rosaline and replied,

"I-I'm fine but where's Sia?  I-I thought she would be here.  Why did she leave?"

He felt himself on the brink of tears although he did his best to contain them.

Rosaline didn't know what to say, as she didn't want to hide anything from Ryan but in the same time, she felt that he wouldn't take it if she told him the truth: that they didn't know where Lisianthus was. So thinking of a way to go around it, she said,

"Ahh she told the healer she had to go because she had urgent work to take care of. Don't worry. What matters the most now is your health. Are you feeling better?"

Ryan felt relieved, as he believed Rosaline about Lisianthus being busy with work.  He smiled softly and nodding, he replied,

"Yes, I feel much better.  Were you all worried about me?"

Bryan nodded and replied, "Of course we were.  Once we knew what happened, we had to come see you as soon as we could."

(Welcome back. XD)

Rosaline nodded in agreement and replied, 

"The maid told us that you were taken to the healers' room and we were all quite worried. The healer said you're getting better though. Umm, what happened? Why were you taken here?"

(Thanks.  BTW, I'm going to sleep a little early tonight since I'm planning to go out tomorrow morning and all.  XD)

Ryan looked confused and replied, "I'm not sure myself.  I remember that I was talking to Sia in her office but I must have collapsed or something since I was taken here.  That's all I can remember."

(Ahh I understand. XD)

Rosaline furrowed her eyebrows, as the information Ryan provided wasn't really that helpful. She asked,

"Umm...don't you remember what you and Sia were talking about?"

(Thanks.  XD)

Ryan replied, "Well, I wanted to find out why Sia kept isolating herself from us but then I collapsed and next thing I knew, I'm here."

He paused and then added, "I did have a nightmare as well but it had nothing to do with what happened."

Rosaline was curious as Ryan mentioned a nightmare and wondering if it could have any clue to what truly happened between him and Lisianthus, she gently asked,

"Umm what nightmare? What did you see?"

Ryan replied, "Oh it's nothing but basically, in the nightmare, Sia told me that she wanted to break up with me.  Of course, that was only a bad dream.  I confirmed it with Sia when she was with me earlier and she did say so."

Rosaline furrowed her eyebrows for a moment and she was confused. She would have thought that perhaps this all wasn't just a nightmare after all and that Ryan confused things but what he said about talking to Lisianthus earlier and having her confirm that it was all a nightmare pushed that thought away. However, something still didn't feel right.

She said,

"Umm I see. Well, of course it's just a nightmare. Sia would never want to break up with you after all."

Ryan smiled softly and nodding, he replied, "Yup, that's right.  We love each other so very much so it's crazy that she'd even want to break up with me."

He looked satisfied by his response and Bryan looked confused, not sure what to make of the situation.

Rosaline nodded although she didn't say anything further, as she felt confused as well. She wanted to tell Ryan the truth: that they didn't know where Lisianthus was, but she didn't have the heart to do it. She had a feeling that telling him that would make his condition worse and prevent him from properly recovering but she didn't know what to do.

She looked to Bryan, wondering if he had any idea over what to do.

Bryan gave Rosaline a look that indicated that he didn't know what they should do, either.  Ryan then said,

"I hope Sia finishes her work soon so she can come back to me.  I miss her."

Rosaline didn't say anything but bit her lower lip, as Ryan's comment made things even more difficult for her. Meanwhile, Nerine was watching the whole scene and was annoyed. Talking to Alex telepathically, she said,

Are they going to keep hiding things from him like this? Until when? He will know eventually. If they're afraid for his sake, well, I am worried about my cousin who is missing and we don't know anything about her whereabouts. 

Alex replied,

Rosaline and Bryan are just following the healer's directions and they're doing their best not to upset him.  But you are right.  We need to find out where Sia is.  Should I communicate with Duchess Irene?

Nerine rolled her eyes but she replied, 

Talk to her, I suppose. Maybe she can have a clue over Sia is.

Alex sighed inwardly upon seeing Nerine's reaction but not saying anything, he communicated to Duchess Irene,

Duchess Irene, it's Alex.  Can you talk?

Irene received Alex's message and wondering if there were any news, she replied,

Yes, I can, Alex. How is everything on your side?

Alex took a deep breath and then told Irene about everything that had happened, about how Ryan had collapsed while he talked to Lisianthus and ended up in the healers' room along with his nightmare.  Also, he mentioned about Lisianthus taking Melody and that he couldn't locate her despite his attempts.

Irene was alarmed and worried as she heard of what happened between Ryan and Lisianthus. She replied,

So Lisianthus is now missing? And how is Ryan at the moment? Is his health any better?


Although she too was confused and couldn't form a clear picture of what could have happened, she knew that things must have gone pretty bad for Ryan to collapse like that and for Lisianthus to run away and disappear.

Alex replied,

Ryan is all right.  He just woke up and he's talking to Rosaline and Bryan although it seems as though he doesn't remember much.  He mentioned that he had a nightmare where Lisianthus wanted to break up with him.


He told Irene about the nightmare part and how Lisianthus confirmed that it was only so and that the events in that dream didn't actually happen.

Irene was confused, as something didn't feel right about all of this. She replied,

Well, if that's the case, if it was only a nightmare as Ryan believes...how did things originally go between him and Lisianthus? He went to her office to talk to her, right? How did that go? Why did he collapse?
