Alex nodded and smiled, replying, "Trust me always, for I will always love you, no matter what."

He then turned his eyes back to his breakfast to finish up eating so that he and Lisianthus could be on their way to town afterwards.

(Hmm, I wonder if Nerine will try something to get Alex to love her only. lol)

(Hmm probably not since she isn't the type. lol)

Lisianthus had a sort of an annoyed jealous face although she did her best not to. She wondered for how long would she have to keep her love a secret but she continued eating as did Nerine.

(lol Ok. It would be curious if Nerine did try something, though. )

As Alex was eating, he realized that he hadn't told Nerine about his plans for today. He paused in his eating and said,

"Ahh darling, before I forget, I wanted to let you know that Sia and I are going into town today. I wanted to show her around and all. But I know that Mom and Dad might come over today so I didn't want them to come here to an empty house. Will you be all right staying here today? I know it's a lot to ask and all."

Nerine turned to Alex and replied, "Ahh I wouldn't mind at all, my lord. It would be nice to spend time with Mum and Dad."

Alex smiled and replied, "Thanks, darling. I promise that Sia and I will be back later today to help pack and all. I don't want you to work yourself too hard, ok? Not even for me."

He winked at Nerine and then turned back to finishing up his breakfast.

Nerine replied, "But I am more than happy working hard for you, my lord."

She was finishing up her breakfast and Lisianthus was already done.

Inside, Alex sighed to himself. He really didn't want Nerine to work herself so hard for him. He would need to work on that. Soon, Alex finished up breakfast as well and waited for Nerine to do so, too. Then they would clean up and then he and Sia could go into town.

Nerine was soon all done with her breakfast. Seeing as how Alex and Lisianthus were done, too, she stood up and said,

"Ahh looks like everyone is done. Why don't you go with Lisianthus to the living room, my lord, and I will clean up here?"

Alex stood up and replied, "All right, darling. Sia and I will wait for you in the living room then."

Alex turned to Sia and waited for her to enter the living room first so that he would follow afterwards, being the gentleman that he was.

Lisianthus stood up and went into the living room, waiting for Alex to follow. And Nerine then began cleaning up the table.

Alex followed Sia into the living room and then sat on the sofa, waiting for Sia to seat herself. He figured that they could talk for a little bit while Nerine was busy cleaning up the dining room.

Lisianthus sat down beside Alex and stayed silent. She had an annoyed but a cute pout on her face, wondering if she could get Alex to ask her what's the matter.

After Lisianthus had seated herself, Alex looked over and observed the annoyed pout on her face. His face turned to one of concern and he asked,

"Ahh what's the matter, darling? Is it because I kissed Nerine a little while ago?"

Lisianthus replied, "Why do you always kiss her while I am there? Just to annoy me?"

Alex sighed and replied, "Ahh darling, I didn't wish to hurt you. You know that I love you, too, but it's too soon to make our love public. And Nerine is still feeling uneasy after finding out about me and Lycoris. I have to do everything in my power to reassure her that my love for her is still strong. You do understand, right?"

He gave Lisianthus a cute sad smile.

Lisianthus's annoyed face eased a bit but still keeping it, she replied, "Umm well, I do understand but you don't have to always kiss her while I am there, at least not too much."

Alex hugged Lisianthus softly and whispered into her left ear, "I promise I'll make it up to you later, just you and me."

He wanted to kiss Lisianthus but knowing that Nerine would soon return, he refrained from doing so.

Lisianthus smiled and replied, "Well, if that's what you say then."

Alex released Sia from his arms and smiled tenderly at her. Just then, the doorbell rang. Alex said, "Ahh I'll get it, darling. It's probably Mom and Dad. They did mention that they might drop by today."

Alex got up and went to the door and indeed, Edward and Eleanor were waiting outside. He showed them inside and into the living room and asked them to be seated.

Seeing Alex's parents, Lisianthus stood up and bowed, saying, "Ahh it's good to see you again, sir and madam."

Eleanor curtseyed while Edward bowed to Lisianthus. After they had all seated themselves, Eleanor said, "Good morning. Did you sleep well, dear?"

Lisianthus seated herself back and replied, "Yup, I sure did. It was a sweet night. I hope it was for you, too."

Eleanor nodded and replied, "Ahh thank you, dear. Edward and I slept very well, too. We wanted to come by today to see how everyone is doing and I wanted to help you all pack for the trip tomorrow. Ahh Alex, Greg's parents are coming with us, too, since they want to see him and Rosalind."

Alex replied, "Ahh ok, Mom. It'll be nice seeing Greg after all this time. Sia and I are going into town today. I want to show her around and if she wants any clothes for the journey, I'd be happy to buy them for her."

Lisianthus sweat dropped as she heard Alex's last comment, remembering that she didn't have any clothes other than the one she wore. But then again, she didn't want Alex to have the trouble of buying clothes for her.

She turned to him, "Ahh it's ok, Alex. I can manage well with these clothes."

Alex turned to Sia and replied, "Ahh are you sure, though? I don't mind at all going clothes shopping for you. It'll be fun."

Eleanor added, "I agree with Alex, dear. He wouldn't mind at all helping you out with clothes. I did make sure to put a few clothes in the guest rooms here but I know that they may not be the right size and you should have at least a few beautiful outfits while you're here."
