Love's corner of sad poetry

Heya all,

So...since I am pretty down and all, I thought some poetry might do me good. This will be a place where I will post my poetry.

Missing you

I loved you, and I still do

I want to be with you, but as much as I do

You don't want me and I can't protest you


But I want to let you know, that I missed you

Even though we have been apart for so little time

It feels as we have been apart for so long


And I want to see you, even if just for a minute

Oh, haven't you missed me, too?

Or did the days made you forget me?

Oh, how I wish I could forget you, too


The painful memories are still in my mind

And I wish I could fix my broken heart

But the love I am wishing for

Is no longer there from you

The promise you broke


You once made a promise, to stay by my side

You said you will love me forever, no matter what

But now you broke this promise

And pushed me aside


Oh, doesn't it hurt you, when you see me hurt?

Oh, don't you feel the pain, that I am feeling now?

How could you not love me?

How could you abandon me?


All this time, I thought you loved me

All this time, I thought you cared for me

All this time, I thought that you will keep your promise


But oh well, you are not my true love

Oh well, but how can I love you still?

Awww, I hope things will get better for you, Love.

That's some good poetry you have out there. It's very emotional and it comes straight from the heart. Hmm, the only thing I'm confused about is "abdomen"? I think it should be "abandon" but then again, I just got home and I'm a little tired at the moment. lol

I know you have been going through some sad and difficult times. It's good that you can channel your sadness into poem writing to release some steam. Hope you're feeling a bit better after some writing.

My heart is broken

How can I fix it?

My tears are flowing

How can I stop them?


I am trying hard to forget you

But your memories are so hard to forget

Oh, have you forgotten me that easily?

Or are my memories still in you?


Oh, don't you love me as much as I do?

Or did your heart turn suddenly into stone?

Oh, please, please love me again

Oh, please don't stay away

Awww, it's another beautiful and yet sad poem. For some reason, it makes me think that you and Rosalind could relate to one another.

And lol on studying. Guess it depends on what the lesson was that day.

lol Thanks, phoenix. I now feel what Rosalind felt when Alex left her. But man, it's hurtful. Now I want to kill Alex.

And well, the lesson was Arabic Grammar at that time. Boooooorrrrinnnnnnnggg.

Awww, this one reminds me of a Sailor Moon episode. It's the one where Lita is standing in the rain and her ex-boyfriend dumps her. I think she can relate as well.

The poem is very expressive and lovely.

Hearing you mentioned Sailormoon, I thought of Usagi and Mamoru---especially the anime part where Mamoru has forgotten that Usagi was his love. and a little bit of Seiya and Usagi parts in Sailor Stars arc.

Okay, this isn't a sad poem but more of a tribute. I wrote for a very special friend and she is also my best friend. I think she will know herself. She has a Lacus siggie.

A gift for a friend

When I am down and feeling all alone

Drowning in the darkness, with nobody home

And tears are flowing down my face

You suddenly come and smile at me with hope


How can I ever refuse your lovely smile?

Your friendly love can never let me down

Oh, your cheerful laugh makes me smile again


You are my hope for a better tomorrow

Oh, please don't leave my side, don't go away

I need you, so please stay
