Romance RP

Lycoris smiled softly and patting Matthew's hand gently, she replied,

"Thank you for everything, Matt. I can't help but feel bad that you've been pulled into all of this because of me but you've been only supportive and caring. Thank you so much."


Nerine nodded happily and replied, "Ok. I'll be quick."

She gave him a quick kiss then after getting herself a nightgown, she entered the bathroom to get ready for the night.

Matthew smiled and replied, "And thank you for coming into my life.  I wouldn't trade meeting and being with you for anything.  You're worth it."

As Nerine got ready, Alex took out a pair of pajamas and then waited for Nerine.  He couldn't help but feel bad for Lycoris but he hoped that Nerine would feel better tomorrow once the excitement died down.

Lycoris blushed on hearing Matthew's words and continuing to smile, she said,

"I can't help but feel spoiled by your words, you know. Do you have a habit of always saying such sweet things?"


Nerine washed up and changed into a beautiful white nightgown and let her hair down, ready for getting some sleep. She didn't feel bad about how she treated Lycoris, as she believed she was the reason why they were in such a situation.

After she was finished, she went out of the bathroom and approaching Alex, she said, "The bathroom is all yours, Alex."

Matthew chuckled and replied, "When it's you, I suppose I do.  I can't help myself around you.  Well, you are the most wonderful and beautiful woman to have entered my life."

Alex smiled and replied, "Thanks, darling.  I'll be quick."

He gave Nerine a quick kiss and then went into the bathroom to wash up and change.

Lycoris blushed even deeper but giggling a little, she replied teasingly,

"Uh oh. If you keep this up a little more, I'll think that you're flirting with me now although I admit you do say such sweet words."

Nerine got into bed meanwhile and waited for Alex to join her.

Matthew blushed and replied, "Well, I do mean every word I say but tell me-do you not like it when I saw such sweet words to you?"

Alex quickly finished washing up and changed into a pair of dark green pajamas.  Once he was done, he left the bathroom and put away his clothes.  Then he climbed into bed next to Nerine and happily said,

"I'm all ready to fall asleep in your arms, darling."

Lycoris blushed even more deeply, a little surprised by the question, but then she shyly replied,

"Well, I admit I do like hearing them. I-I mean, umm, it-it's only natural that a lady likes hearing such beautiful words directed at her, right?"

Nerine cuddled close to Alex and smiling softly, she said,

"And I am more than happy to be in your arms at the moment, my Alex. You're really the light of my life, you know that?"

Matthew nodded and replied, "Yes, that's true but you deserve every single word.  You truly are the most wonderful and kindest woman I've ever known and I can't wait to know more about you, if that's all right."

Alex smiled lovingly at Nerine and replied, "And you are the light of my life."

He leaned in to give Nerine a sweet, loving kiss on the lips.

Lycoris smiled softly again and replied, "It's the same here but well, we have plenty of time together, right? I will answer any questions you have about me and I hope I can ask any question about you too. I mean, you're quite admirable, Matt. I really look up to you."

Nerine returned Alex's kiss quite lovingly, making the moment last for as long as possible. After it was eventually broken, she happily said,

"Now I can sleep in your arms, feeling happy and safe."

Matthew blushed and replied, "And I look up to you, Lycoris.  I just love being in your presence.  Truly, I have never felt this way about anyone ever."

Alex happily replied, "And I can sleep happily in your presence.  Good night, darling, and I'll see you in the morning."

Lycoris blushed a bit as well but smiling curiously, she said,

"Is there any special reason for that, Matt? Is my company really quite enjoyable to you?"

Nerine replied happily, "Good night, my Alex. I'll see you in the morning."

She cuddled closer to him and laying her head on the pillow, she closed her eyes and soon fell asleep.

(I think we can leave Alex and Nerine until everyone's caught up the next morning.  XD)

Matthew nodded happily and replied, "Yup, it sure is.  Your company is truly wonderful, Lycoris.  I just want to spend as much time with you as possible but I suppose that's selfish of me?"

(Ahh yup, that's right. XD There's also Lisianthus and Ryan part who haven't had their evening yet so I guess we should continue until it's night for them as well? XD)

Lycoris giggled softly and replied,

"Aww I don't think it's selfish and I don't mind. I enjoy your company too. You're quite gentle and kind, Matt. I wish more people were like you."

(Yup, sounds good.  XD)

Matthew blushed and replied, "And I wish more people were like you.  In the short time you've been here, I can tell that Dad and Olivia like you, too.  You're friendly and kind to be around."

(Coolies. XD)

Lycoris smiled softly and replied, "Thanks, Matt but then again, you all are. I like you, and I like Olivia and even though my meeting with your dad was pretty short, I could tell he's a very kind man too. You're really all great to be around."

Meanwhile, it was getting around dinnertime in the gods' world. As Irene and Ryan were still having their walk, Irene turned to him and said,

"It's close to dinnertime. You should go see Lisianthus, I think."

Matthew nodded happily and replied, "You couldn't be in better company, Lycoris, and I'll make sure that you're happy and comfortable here always."

Ryan nodded and replied, "Ok.  I hope Sia has calmed down by now.  I'll talk to you later."

He bowed to Irene and then headed inside the castle to find Lisianthus.

Lycoris smiled gratefully and squeezing Matthew's hand gently, she replied,

"Thank you, Matt. I am already quite happy and comfortable. You're the best."

Lisianthus was in her room inside the castle, lying down on the bed. She was still quite saddened by the events of the morning and wished she could spend more time alone although she knew that Ryan would probably visit her soon and she couldn't keep pushing him away forever.

Matthew returned Lycoris' hand squeeze and replied, "Thanks.  You're the best, too."

He then asked, "Do you want to get some sleep or would you like to stay up a bit?"

Ryan headed to Lisianthus' room and once he was outside her door, he knocked and said,

"Sia?  It's me.  May I come in?"

Lycoris was about to say that she could stay up a bit but then a soft yawn escaped her lips. Blushing in embarrassment, she shyly said,

"Oops. You'd think a couple of naps would keep me up a bit but I guess not."

As Lisianthus was expecting Ryan's visit, she wasn't too surprised to hear his voice so she said,

"Yeah, come in, Ryan."

Matthew chuckled and replied, "It's all right.  It is getting a bit late so you should get some sleep.  If you don't mind, I would like to stay with you.  I can sleep on the sofa.  Or if you'd rather, I can have Olivia take my place and she can stay with you for the night."

Ryan entered Lisianthus' room and after closing the door, he approached Lisianthus on the bed and taking a seat, he gently said,

"Hey, Sia, how are you feeling?"

Lycoris blushed as Matthew made his suggestion and quickly said,

"There-there is no need for anyone to stay with me. Really, I don't wish to trouble anyone with that. It couldn't be quite fun to sleep on the sofa, right? It's ok. I'll be alright by myself."

Lisianthus sighed sadly and not sitting up, she looked sadly at Ryan and replied,

"Calmer, I guess, but not much better. I can't help it, Ryan."

Matthew smiled and replied, "It wouldn't be any trouble, Lycoris.  The sofa is quite comfortable and we can just get extra pillows and blankets.  I did stay by your side last night.  I was hoping I could do so again although I want to respect your wishes."

Ryan nodded and replied, "I understand, beautiful.  It's been one disaster after another.  I'll do my best to help you.  Lean on me to help you."

Lycoris looked a bit hesitant and replied,

"Are you sure? I-I really don't wish to trouble anyone with anything, especially not Olivia. I feel like I trouble her enough with taking care of me and all that."

Lisianthus was silent for a moment but then she sighed sadly and getting up, she asked,

"Did you have lunch?"

Matthew replied, "I'm sure Olivia doesn't feel that way.  She would have told me if she felt troubled but she genuinely is happy to help you.  But I can stay with you.  You can think of me as your personal protector."

Ryan nodded and replied, "I did with Duchess Irene.  But you didn't eat anything?"

He looked troubled, as he guessed that Lisianthus had probably stayed in her room since they had separated earlier in the day.

Lycoris looked quite lost, as she didn't know what to do, genuinely not wanting to trouble anyone with taking care of her.

She replied, "I-I really don't know. I don't want to feel like a burden to anyone or anything, that's all."

Lisianthus shook her head and replied, "I didn't feel like eating anything and I guess I still don't. But I will eat a bit with you if you'll have dinner with me. It's around dinnertime, right?"
