Romance RP

Ryan waited while Lisianthus checked on the desserts.  Meanwhile, Nala had finished her snack and Ryan was gently petting her head.

Lisianthus checked on the desserts and indeed, they were all baked and they smelled quite delicious. She used a couple of kitchen mittens to get out the pans and put them on the kitchen table. Grinning happily, she said, 

"All done! Man, I just want to devour them all right now!"

Ryan chuckled and replied, "I understand, beautiful, but we should let them cool a bit, especially the muffins and cake.  Then we can put the chocolate icing on top."

Nala meowed curiously, looking at the desserts.

Lisianthus nodded happily and replied, "Yes, yes, I know! Then they would be all ready to eat."

Just then, Lady Penelope came downstairs and hearing the sounds from the kitchen, she headed there. Seeing the couple, she smiled at Ryan and said, "Good morning, sweetie."

She saw all the desserts and such and curiously said, "It looks like you've been up and about for a bit."

Ryan returned Lady Penelope's smile and nodding, he replied,

"Good morning, my lady.  Yes, Sia and I have been quite busy this morning.  We've prepared a delicious chocolate breakfast for everyone.  I hope you'll like it and I hope that there isn't anyone who's allergic to chocolate."

Lady Penelope smiled a little and replied, "It certainly looks and smells quite delicious. A lovely surprise. I don't have a chocolate allergy, thankfully, neither does Anjela."

Looking a little worried, she said, "Umm have you seen anyone this morning? Quite a bit happened last night with Alex and Lycoris. Matt and Anjela went to their aid but things didn't go quite well. I haven't heard from them this morning yet."

She told Ryan and Lisianthus of what Anjela told her last night, up to when Alex was taken by Duke Collins' men.

Ryan widened his eyes and replied, "I wish I'd known.  I would have helped right away.  Sia and I only just got down here and it was pretty quiet.  Maybe we should contact Matt or your daughter and find out what's going on?"

Lady Penelope continued looking worried and replied, "I just tried contacting Anjela but she isn't responding. I've yet to try contacting Matt. I am so worried something bad happened to all of them."

Ryan looked thoughtful and replied, "Let me try contacting Matt."

He used his telepathy to reach out to Matthew.  Although Matthew was asleep, his mind could hear Ryan and he sleepily replied,

We made it back, in Nerine's room.


Ryan then looked at Lady Penelope and said, "According to Matt, they're here back in Alex's and Nerine's room.  Let's check there."

Lady Penelope looked relieved for a moment then looking worried all over again, she said, "Oh but then why isn't my baby replying to me? Is she hurt? Let's check over them immediately."

She hurriedly led the way out of the kitchen and to Alex's and Nerine's room. Lisianthus glanced at Ryan and picked up Nala in her arms, wanting to follow and make sure everyone was ok too.

Ryan nodded in understanding and followed Lady Penelope as they headed upstairs to Alex's and Nerine's room.

Lady Penelope led the way to Alex's and Nerine's room and quietly opened the door, praying that nothing bad happened to anyone. She was actually surprised to see the sight before her; Alex and Lycoris were unconscious on the couch, while Matthew and Anjela were sleeping ever so peacefully on the ground with their backs to the couch, with Anjela's head on Matthew's shoulder.

Lady Penelope was actually quite surprised that she stood still and said nothing, deciding that Ryan and Lisianthus should see for themselves.

Ryan peeked his head through the door and indeed, he saw the same thing that Lady Penelope did.  He smiled a bit and looking to Lady Penelope, he whispered,

"I think we can talk to them later.  They must be exhausted after what happened."

Lady Penelope nodded quietly and Lisianthus had peeked her head through the door to see the same sight. She couldn't help but quietly squeal and whispered, 

"Aww they look so adorable."

Ryan chuckled quietly and replied, "Yeah, I'd have to agree.  Well, we'll set aside some breakfast for them.  For now, we should head back downstairs and finish with the icing and then we'll be ready."

Lisianthus nodded happily and Lady Penelope led them out of the room, closing the door quietly after her. Giving a breath of relief, she said,

"I am so glad they are back and safe, all of them. I was so worried."

Ryan nodded and replied, "I understand, my lady.  It seems like a lot happened last night that we were unaware of.  At least, everyone is back together for now."

Lady Penelope nodded and replied, "Yes, thank goodness. I wish we could have helped but it looks like Matthew and Anjela could take care of the situation."

Lisianthus happily said, "We should totally finish that chocolate feast we are preparing. It's just the right way to celebrate!"

Ryan grinned and replied, "Yup, that's right.  Let's go.  Would you like to help, too, my lady?  Otherwise, Sia and I can finish up.  We're almost done."

He looked to Lady Penelope.

Lady Penelope smiled a little and replied, "I can help put the icing on the cake. I'd like to help."

She followed Lisianthus and Ryan downstairs so they could all finish up the desserts.

The group made their way downstairs to the kitchen and then Ryan said,

"Ok, let's put the icing and then we can get some milk and juice.  I think that will go very nicely with our meal."

Lisianthus nodded happily and replied, "That's a wonderful idea. I'll take care of getting them out while you take care of the icing."

She went to get out the milk and juice, while Lady Penelope helped Ryan put the icing on the cake and muffins.

Ryan and Lady Penelope put the icing on the cake and muffins and while they did that, Ryan said,

"I'm glad everyone's safe.  It's been so crazy lately."

Lady Penelope nodded and sighing, she said, "I was so worried when Anjela contacted me last night. I wanted to go to her but she said they would take care of it. And it looks like a lot happened this morning but yes, I am glad everyone is safe."

Ryan replied, "Me, too, and it was wise of them to bring Alex and Lycoris here.  If that duke tries going after them again, there's no way he can trace them here and they have us all to help now."
