Romance RP

(Ahh no worries.  I understand.  I'll either continue editing the VN I'm helping out with or game.  We'll see.  XD)

Olivia nodded and replied, "I understand, miss.  I'd think the same if I were in your place.  But as I always tell Helena, it's important to live for now and to take advantage of every moment.  Life is so short, you know?"

(They haven't cut off the power yet so I'll post when I can. XD)

Lycoris sighed and replied,

"Yes, it's so short. So short that I-I didn't get to live much of it, and I can't think of any future plans that are past a few days. That's why I don't want anyone attached to me. I'd rather go without leaving anyone pained behind. And in the same time, I don't want to live as another person. Another self who is nothing like me."

(Ahh ok.  Sorry I didn't check in.  Things got hectic after my last post and then I was too tired to check back anymore.  O.O)

Olivia replied, "Yes, I certainly understand.  If you know that you don't have much time, then you want to live it as much for yourself as possible, right?  You know, I find that it helps to be around the people who love you, to give you strength and support when you need it, and miss, if I do so, you look like you could use the support."

(No problem. ^^ The power didn't cut off after all yesterday but it did today and it might do the same again tomorrow. The workers are still doing their job and all but since they are changing the whole block's wires and cables, it is a big job and all. :/)

Lycoris sighed sadly once more and replied quietly,

"I wish I had Matthew's support, too, Olivia. I-I felt like I could depend on him and put my faith into him but I guess things didn't work out like I hoped they would."

She paused then smiling a little, she said, "But I appreciate your help and support, of course. Thank you for listening to me. I needed that at least."

(Ahh I see.  It sounds like it could take them a while and it's ok.  ^^)

Olivia smiled softly and gently patting Lycoris' hands, she replied, "I'll be here for you, miss, and if you ever have need of me, no matter what it is, please call on me, ok?"

(Thanks for understanding. ^^ The workers are still working although it's past midnight here. There's hoping they will finish today or tomorrow at best. XD)

Lycoris smiled softly and nodding, she replied, "Of course."

She paused then said, "Now, will you please help me get ready? Matthew will be probably here quite soon and I don't want him to find me still in my nightgown."

(Cool.  ^^)

Olivia nodded and replied, "Of course, miss, and don't worry about the master.  I'll delay him if he returns before you're ready.  I'll go prepare you a bath first."

She went into the bathroom to prepare a warm bubble bath for Lycoris and laid out towels and a bathrobe nearby.  Once everything was ready, she returned to Lycoris and asked,

"Are you ready?  I've prepared your bath and I'll get your clothes out while you take one."

(The electricity is working fine for now so I'll be here as long as I can. XD)

Lycoris nodded and replied, "Yes, I am ready. Please help me to the bathroom."

She got up and with Olivia's help, she went to the bathroom and then closed the door after her to take her bath.

(I got back from work earlier so I'll post now but unfortunately, this will probably be the only post I make for tonight.  I have too much to take care of after and I probably won't be able to game before I go to bed tonight and I was really looking forward to it, especially after all the work I did earlier today.  T.T)

Olivia nodded and helping Lycoris to her feet, she escorted her into the bathroom.  Then, she guided her hands to the bathtub and to where the towels and bathrobe were.  Olivia then said,

"Ok, miss, I'll prepare your clothes and you just call out to me when you're done."

(Aww I understand. ^^ I hope you can get some rest and time to relax soon. )

Lycoris nodded and replied, 
 
"I will. Thank you very much, Olivia."

She waited until Olivia had left then started taking her bath. A little later, she was finished and reached out to the towel to dry herself then put on her bathrobe. She then opened the door and little and called out,

"Olivia? I am all done."

(Thanks.  Well, I should be able to relax today, hopefully.  ^^)

Meanwhile, Olivia had laid out a beautiful light purple dress and matching hair ribbons for Lycoris as well as shoes.  Hearing Lycoris call out to her, Olivia approached Lycoris and said,

"Ok, miss.  I've laid out all your clothes for you."

She took Lycoris' hand and led her to where the clothes and such were.  Then she helped her to get dressed for the day and to arrange her hair beautifully.

(Coolies. I'll be here as long as the electricity is working fine. ^^)

Lycoris got dressed with Olivia's help and as she was helping her do her hair, she smiled a bit and said,

"Thank you for your help, Olivia. I appreciate that you come to help me every day to look my best."

(Nice.  I haven't had any editing or classes to teach today so I've been able to relax the entire day.  ^^)

Olivia returned Lycoris' smile and replied, "You're very welcome, miss, although I must say that you don't really need my help, for you always look your best."

(Coolies. ^^)

Lycoris smiled and replied, 

"Thanks, Olivia. Your words are quite sweet."

She expected Matthew to come back any moment and she felt a little nervous, as she didn't know how to behave around him. She felt that the feeling of trust and safety she had around him before wasn't the same anymore.

Meanwhile, Matthew remained in his room, feeling sad about what happened earlier.  He didn't want to face Lycoris and just wanted to be alone for a while.  So he asked one of the butlers to escort Lycoris into the dining room for breakfast instead.  The butler nodded in understanding and approaching the door to Lycoris' room, he knocked on it it and said,

"Miss, are you ready?  Master asked me to escort you into the dining room this morning."

Lycoris was surprised as she heard a butler was going to escort her. She wondered if Matthew still felt bad about what happened that he couldn't face her and escort her like everyday. She sighed sadly to herself and replied,

"Yes, I am coming."

She addressed Olivia and said, "Please take me to the door, Olivia."

Olivia nodded and replied, "Of course, miss."

Olivia opened the door and escorted Lycoris to where the butler was.  The butler extended an arm for Lycoris and said,

"I'll take you to the dining room to have breakfast with the others.  Master won't be joining, though."

Lycoris was starting to get worried as she heard that Matthew wouldn't be joining them for breakfast either. Thinking quickly, she replied to the butler,

"Please don't take me to the dining room. Will you take me to Matthew's room, please?"

The butler looked conflicted and replied, "I'm not sure that I should do that, miss.  Master specifically instructed for me to take you to the dining room and he will be displeased if I disobey a direct order from him."

Lycoris pouted and wondered what to do. She didn't want Matthew to be angry at the poor butler but in the same time, she didn't want to go to the dining room and let Matthew have breakfast by himself. So after a moment of silence, she replied with the pout still on her face,

"Well, in that case, I don't want to have breakfast at all. You can tell your master that I didn't want to go to the dining room. I am pretty sure he didn't ask you to force me to there, right?"

The butler saw the look on Lycoris' face and he couldn't suppress his smile.  Olivia stepped in and said,

"I think it should be all right to disobey Master's order just this once.  If he gets angry, just tell him that I made you, ok?"

Olivia whispered to Lycoris, "Master likes me so he won't do anything rash."

The butler sighed and replied, "All right, I'll take you to Master's bedroom then."

Lycoris smiled a little to Olivia and said, "Thanks for your help, Olivia."

She took a deep breath then addressing the butler, she said, "Okay, please lead the way."

The butler nodded and gently holding onto Lycoris' arm, he led the way down the hallway and to Matthew's bedroom.  Soon, the two of them were at the door and the butler took a deep breath.  He then knocked on the door and Matthew asked,

"Who is it?"

The butler replied, "It's me again, sir.  Umm, you have a visitor and she insisted to see you, sir."

Lycoris took a deep breath herself and speaking up, she said, 

"Matthew? It's me, Lycoris. I-I couldn't go downstairs without you. Umm can you open the door please?"

Matthew sighed to himself and getting up, he opened the door and saw Lycoris and the butler.  He looked a little sternly at the butler and the butler said,

"Olivia said I should, sir.  I wouldn't have done so, otherwise."

Matthew let out a breath and replied, "I understand.  I'll take care of things from here.  Please resume your duties."

The butler nodded and left.  Then Matthew turned to Lycoris and asked, "Do you want to come inside?"

(I'm going to go to sleep for the night now but I do have the day off tomorrow so I should be able to post more then and all.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)
