Romance RP

Matthew looked thoughtful and replied, "I suppose it's both.  Practicing medicine does run in the family but I know my dad would have supported if I wanted to do something else.  And I love helping the people.  If it's within my ability to heal them and make them healthier and stronger, then I want to give it my best, you know?"

Lycoris continued smiling and replied,

"I guess. Do you feel happy and satisfied whenever you help someone and they thank you for it? And have you ever saved someone's life? You know, as in, prevented their death?"

Matthew nodded and replied, "Yup, I have.  I've encountered a few cases where the patient was near death but I was able to save them, using everything I know and all the techniques I invented.  I'd say that the people here are very healthy because of Dad and me."

(I'll go ahead and go to sleep now but I'll be back tomorrow and I'll post again.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Lycoris giggled and replied, 

"That's some confidence you've got there but I guess you have all right to have it. But I won't believe it until I try it myself, you know, and I get my eyesight back."

Matthew nodded and replied, "Oh yes, I totally understand.  I keep developing new techniques to help people who may have all kinds of conditions.  I think it's important to help as many people as I can."

(Sorry I wasn't able to post today at all. I had to go out with my parents for the day and I'm afraid it will be the same for tomorrow as well. :/)

Lycoris shrugged and replied, "I guess it makes people respect you a lot, right?"

She paused then thinking of something, she suddenly smiled mischievously and asked, "And between all your patients, you never encountered any beautiful, breathtaking young ladies who tried to win your heart?"

(Ahh it's ok.  ^^)

Matthew blushed deeply and stammering, he replied, "Oh I-I uh, I never had time for a social life.  I was too busy studying and working on becoming a doctor to date."

He looked at Lycoris and also thought to himself that he had never met a woman before her whom he could imagine spending the rest of his life with.

(Thanks for understanding. ^^ I should be able to post more tomorrow since I'll go to the pharmacy during the evening and all. XD)

Lycoris couldn't help but giggle playfully at Matthew's stammering, and continuing to tease him a little more, she said,

"Aha, really? So you never met a beautiful patient by chance? Any sick lady who could capture your attention and take your breath away? Or at least a patient lady who tried to leave an impression? I find it difficult to believe that none of that happened."

(Coolies.  ^^)

Matthew replied, "A-ah well, um, if you mean if any lady has tried to flirt with me, that has happened, b-but I've never been interested.  I-I'm very professional about my work and I-I never found the right one."

Lycoris continued giggling happily and replied, 

"I see. Now, now, you must have high specifications for your dream lady so you haven't found her yet. Are you planning to remain a bachelor forever?"

Matthew blushed and replied, "I-I hope I find her soon."

He gazed at Lycoris, feeling that he had already found his "dream lady."

(Sorry I was away. I had to take care of some stuff and all. XD)

Lycoris giggled happily and then had a smile on her face, but she didn't say anything anymore. Although the real Lycoris was oblivious, this personality could sense a little attraction on Matthew's side for her, and she was pleased with it.

Matthew then asked, "What about you?  Have you ever thought of your ideal dream man?"

Lycoris' expression changed and showed a little annoyance and perhaps sadness. She replied, 

"I have, and I thought I found him twice...but it never works out, like I am destined to be lonely forever. It was Alex in the beginning, and then Ryan...but both were already taken and their hearts weren't for me. It looks like I am the one who will remain single forever, right?"

Matthew shook his head vehemently and replied, "Hey, don't say that.  Just because it didn't work out with them doesn't mean that you're destined to be alone."

He held Lycoris' hands in his own.

(Getting sleepy so I'll go to bed now but I'll post again tomorrow before I go to work.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Lycoris shrugged and still with the annoyed, sad tone, she replied,

"It doesn't matter. I can take care of myself on my own. I don't need anyone to shower me with their feelings only to take them back in the end for some other."

She paused then biting her lower lip, she continued more quietly, "I know my other self is still infatuated with Alex but she'll grow out of it eventually."

Matthew nodded and replied, "It's difficult to get over your first love.  I can understand that.  And hey, I know that you're more than capable of taking care of yourself.  I have no doubts on that."

Lycoris' expression softened a bit then smiling confidently, she said, 

"Good. At least someone believes in me and knows that I am not weak or pathetic."

Matthew nodded happily and replied, "Yup, I believe in you."

The couple continued to walk in the forest and Matthew encountered a beautiful, rare blue rose.  He pointed to it and said,

"Ahh I knew it might be around.  There's a blue rose right here.  Do you want to touch and smell it?"

(Random but I made a second Tumblr blog and posted a couple of entries to my main blog.  I think they've been way overdue.  lol)

Lycoris smiled and replied, "Really? Then yeah, sure, I'd love to smell and feel it. I wonder if it smells any different from usual roses."

Matthew looked thoughtful and replied, "I think the smell and feel are the same as other roses but I'll let you determine that for yourself."

He gently bent down with Lycoris and guided her hands to where the blue rose was.

Lycoris reached out to feel the rose with her hands and bent down to take a sniff of its smell. She nodded and said,

"Yes, it smells and feels the same. So I guess the only difference is the color, right?"

Matthew nodded and replied, "Yup, that's right and blue roses are very rare.  That's why they're very precious.  I guess they're like you.  I mean, you're definitely one of a kind."

Lycoris blushed a little but smiling confidently still, she replied,

"Really? You think I'm one of a kind? Is it because I've got powers, or perhaps because I'm one with two personalities? You don't see that every day."

(No problem.  ^^)

Matthew replied, "Well, that is true but there's just something about you that's very special.  I can feel it in my heart.  That's how I know that you're one of a kind."
