Romance RP

Lycoris nodded excitedly and replied, "I can't wait to try it out."

The party continued eating, soon finishing up. Lycoris felt happy although Nerine wasn't feeling the same way, as just seeing her sister so carefree although she was the reason why they were in this mess got on her nerves.

After everyone finished up eating, the maids came into the dining room to begin the clean up.  Olivia came in as well and seeing Lycoris, she smiled softly, curtseyed to her, and said,

"Hello again, miss.  Did you enjoy breakfast?"

Lycoris smiled happily as she heard Olivia's voice and nodding, she replied,

"Hey, Olivia. Yes, breakfast was really delicious. Please thank the chefs for me. Their food always tastes so good."

(Ahh I didn't head to college today so yeah, I can post for the day. XD)

Olivia nodded happily and replied, "I will, miss.  I'll be sure to tell them."

She turned to Alex and Nerine and looking at Nerine, she said, "You must be Miss Lycoris' twin."

Nerine was a bit surprised as she found Olivia talking to her but smiling a bit, she nodded and said,

"Oh yes, I am Nerine. Olivia, right? It's a pleasure to meet you, Olivia."

Olivia nodded and curtseying to Nerine, she said, "It's a pleasure to meet you, miss.  You two sure do look alike and I bet you're just as wonderful as Miss Lycoris."

Nerine wasn't too pleased with Olivia's comment as she was compared to Lycoris being 'wonderful,' especially when she didn't see her like that at all. She smiled a little to her but didn't say anything in response.

Turning to Alex, she quietly said, "Can we leave? We don't have to go back to our room but I don't want to stay here."

Alex looked concerned as he heard Nerine's request but he nodded and turning to the others, he said,

"Well, my darling and I would like to check out the library for a bit, if that's all right."

Matthew nodded and replied, "Certainly.  That's all right with me."

(I might be slow in posting because I'm multi-tasking.  ^^)

Lycoris was a little disappointed as Alex and Nerine excused themselves but she didn't say anything although she had hoped they could stay in their company a little longer. Meanwhile, Lady Penelope replied,

"As you like, darlings but will you join us for lunch? Please do. It's only merrier when it's all of us together."

Olivia added, "Oh I do hope you will.  My daughter is coming by this morning and she'll probably have lunch with us and I'd love for you to meet her, too."

Alex looked at Nerine, as though he had no problem with having lunch with the others but he wanted her ok on it before giving their consent.

Although Nerine would have preferred that they eat lunch alone, she couldn't really find an excuse to say no so smiling a little, she replied,

"Oh yes, of course. We'll be here at lunchtime and we can eat all together."

Alex nodded and replied, "Oh yes, we'll be back here for lunch."

Matthew smiled softly and replied, "That's great.  Have a wonderful morning, you two, and we'll see you later."

Alex smiled softly and he got up, helping Nerine on her feet.  Then he bowed politely to the others and gently holding onto Nerine's arm, he led the way towards the library.

After Nerine and Alex left, Lycoris sighed sadly but quickly trying to distract herself, she addressed Olivia and asked,

"When will your daughter arrive, Olivia?"

Olivia turned to Lycoris and said, "Very soon, miss.  Why don't all of you go to the living room and relax while we take of the clean up?  I'll have tea out in a bit."

Matthew nodded and replied, "That sounds like a good idea."

(Sorry for the delay. Had to go have lunch and all. XD)

Lycoris nodded as well and getting up, she followed the party to the living room so they could relax and wait for tea. There, as they all seated themselves, the shapeshifter didn't sit and said,

"I'll leave now. I have to take care of a few things but does anyone want anything from me?"

(No worries.  ^^)

Matthew shook his head and replied, "We'll be fine but you'll be back for lunch, right?"

He wondered what the shapeshifter had to do but didn't press her on the matter.

The shapeshifter was silent for a couple of moments before shrugging her shoulders and replying,

"I don't know. In any case, don't wait for me if I am late. I can eat when I make it back. See you later."

She then went out of the room and to outside before anyone could say anything else. Lady Penelope looked a little concerned although she quickly tried to hide it, as she had no idea what her daughter wanted to do.

Matthew looked at Lady Penelope and could see how concerned she was so he asked,

"Do you wish to go after her, my lady?  We'll be fine here."

Lady Penelope was a little surprised with Matthew's offer but smiling softly, she said, "Yes, I will. Please excuse me for a moment."

She got up and quickly went after the shapeshifter, hoping to catch her before she would leave.

As the others waited in the living room, Olivia returned, carrying a large tray with a pot of tea, tea cups, and a plate of cookies. As she set the items down, she said,

"I made sure to make enough for everyone."

Lycoris smiled softly as Olivia returned with the tea and as she smelled the cookies, her smile became wider and she happily said,

"There are cookies with the tea, am I right? They smell absolutely wonderful."

Olivia smiled softly and replied, "Yup, they are.  I put in both chocolate and caramel cookies.  Since my daughter is coming, I wanted to prepare enough for everyone."

She poured the tea and handed out the cups to everyone.

Lycoris took her cup and happily said, "Thanks, Olivia."

Addressing Matthew, she said, "You're really lucky to have Olivia, Matt. I bet she takes care you just as much as she does for me, right?"

Matthew nodded happily and replied, "Yup, that's right, especially when I was younger.  She's been an invaluable part of our family.  She really is like my adopted mom."

Olivia blushed and replied, "That's very sweet of you to say, young master."

(Getting sleepy here so I'll get off for the night now and go to sleep.  I have the day off tomorrow so I should be able to post more and all.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Lycoris continued to smile happily and commented,

"I was sure of it. You're really a wonderful person, Olivia, and I am really lucky to have known you as well."
