Romance RP

(Thanks for understanding.  I'm all done preparing my place for when my dad comes back so all I have to do is finish beta testing and hopefully, that won't take too long.  Anyway, I'll check again and post one more time before I go to sleep.  ^^)

Ryan smiled and replied,

That's true and I'd like that, too.


He paused and asked,

Can you communicate with other pegasi like this as well?

(Ok. ^^)

Melody replied,

We can do that but usually, we don't have to. After all, we have our own language to communicate with.


She whinnied happily, indicating what she meant.

Ryan nodded and replied,

Yes, I totally understand.  It's really wonderful that you have such an ability, Melody.  I'm curious but you said that you used to talk to Sia's mother like this?

Melody replied,

That's true. The late queen was the one who found me in some hidden forests south of the gods' world. She was an adventurous woman and would go on such exploration trips frequently. At that time, I was attacked by a Griffin, a fierce, powerful creature, and I was severely injured when she showed up, saved me and used her healing powers to heal my injuries. I've accompanied her since then and until she passed away. The least I could do was talk to her and express how grateful I was.

Ryan smiled softly and replied,

That's a wonderful story, Melody.  I wish I could have met her.  She sounds like a wonderful woman.

Melody replied,

I am sure she would have loved meeting and getting to know you as well, Ryan. She was a wonderful woman indeed. She is quite like Sia actually; they share a lot of personality traits with the same cheerfulness, joy and fieriness. Although perhaps the late queen was a little calmer; Sia tends to be a bit hot-headed at times.

Ryan nodded and replied,

Yup, Sia definitely is fiery but I suppose that's one of the qualities that I love about her.


He smiled softly to himself, thinking about Lisianthus.

Melody whinnied happily and brushing her wing playfully against Ryan's cheek, she said,

I can see that you're thinking of your special lady and you're her special man too. I can't wait to see you together again. Observing you two when you're so happy together is one of the most wonderful things ever.

Ryan blushed and replied,

You're so sweet, Melody, and I bet you miss taking the both of us out on those romantic evening flights so I can see why you want us to get back together.

Melody whinnied happily and flapping her wings, she replied,

You're totally right about that. I miss those very much too. So fix things between you two already, hm? I really want to go on one of those flights soon, all of us together.

Ryan smiled and replied,

I will, Melody.  I want to go on a romantic flight with you and Sia very soon.


(Random but is Shuffle a VN, too?  I saw the store page for it on Steam so that's why I'm asking.  XD)

(Wow, even Shuffle made it on Steam? XD But yup, it's originally a VN and then it was made into an anime although the VN has a lot of adult content at each ending. And ahh I'm assuming there's an English translation now? Back when I knew about it, there was only the Japanese version.)

Melody whinnied happily and replied,

Then we have something to look forward to. Work things out and we'll go as soon as possible.

She paused then said,

It won't be long before Sia comes here. Will you leave then return shortly before it or will you stay here until she comes?

(Ahh I see and yup, it's coming to Steam next month although it'll be the all ages version, with English translation.  XD)

Ryan replied,

I think it's better if I leave now and then return shortly thereafter.  I need to talk to Duchess Irene for a bit anyway but I'll be back here soon and invisible so I can listen to Sia talk to you.  I can communicate with you like this to let you know when I'm back.


(Sleepy now so I'll get off for the night and go to sleep.  I'll check back tomorrow and post again.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Melody replied,

I understand. Be careful when returning and make sure to be invisible while entering so that if she's already here by then, she doesn't see you. I'll wait for your communication.

Ryan nodded and replied,

I understand.  I'll go back to my room for a bit and return here soon.  It was great talking with you, Melody, and I'll see you in a bit.


He gently petted Melody on her head, smiling affectionately at her.

Melody whinnied happily and replied,

And I enjoyed talking to you as well, Ryan. We'll do this again. See you in a bit.

Ryan smiled and nodded and then after giving Melody one last gentle pet on her head, he left the stables and headed back inside the castle to his room.  Once there, he sat in a chair and using his telepathy, he reached out to Irene and said,

Duchess Irene, are you there?

(Back early today so I'll make a post when I can. XD)

Irene had headed to the academy and was still there, as she had work that needed to be taken care of. As she received Ryan's message, she replied,

I am here, Ryan. How did things go with you?

(Ahh I see.  I'm going to bed but I'll make this post first.  XD)

Ryan sighed sadly and then told Irene about his conversation with Lisianthus and how it went.  He then told her of Melody's idea of having him listen in on Lisianthus' conversation with Melody, as he learned that Lisianthus had the habit of doing so.  However, he didn't tell Irene that Melody had communicated with him, making it sound like it was his idea.

Irene was a little surprised to hear about Ryan's idea, as it hadn't occurred to her before and honestly, she had no idea that Lisianthus had such a habit. But agreeing that it could be useful, she replied,

I see. I never thought of this but it might help to bring things closer between you and Lisianthus. Will you do so soon?

Ryan replied,

Yes, I will.  I'm going to head back outside to the stables but keep myself invisible.  I wanted to let you know how things have been going first before doing so.

Irene replied,

Alright. I am glad that you haven't lost hope, Ryan, and that you are ready to pursue things until they're eventually fixed. Good luck and let me know how it goes.

Ryan replied,

I will.  I'll talk to you later then.


He shut off the telepathy and as he left his room, he passed by a maid and told her to let the others know that he had some things to take care of so he would have dinner in his room later.  Then he went outside and once he was alone, he cast the invisibility spell on himself and headed inside the stables.

Inside the stables, Melody was still alone, as Lisianthus hadn't arrived yet. However, as it was close to dinnertime, Melody was mentally prepared for her coming any moment and for Ryan's arrival as well although she knew she wouldn't be able to see him.

Ryan arrived inside the stables and once inside, he approached Melody and telepathically communicated,

Hi, Melody.  I'm here but I'm invisible so you can't see me.
