Romance RP

Ryan looked worried and said, "Sia's not feeling well?  Maybe I should go and visit her."

He got up from his chair, about to head to Lisianthus' room.

Irene was worried as Ryan was about to head to Lisianthus' room so suddenly, and looking to him, she said,

"Ryan, calm down. I am sure Lisianthus is fine. We'll see her right after breakfast, ok?"

She was worried about Lisianthus as well but she had a feeling she knew the reason of her state and worried what might happen if Ryan went to her alone.

Ryan nodded and taking his seat, he replied, "Ok but I want to see her first thing after breakfast.  If she's sick, I want to stay by her side until she's all better."

Irene smiled and nodding, she said, "Of course."

She hoped that things would go well between the two for the sake of both of them. The maids soon returned with breakfast and laid it out in front of the party before taking their leave.

After the maids left, Bryan said, "Well, we should go eat and then figure out how we'll all spend the day."

Alex nodded and replied, "Yes, that sounds good."

The two men began to eat and Ryan soon began to eat as well.

Nerine and Rosaline started eating as well as did Irene and Avi. The food was delicious and hot, making a perfect breakfast.

As they ate, Avi worriedly asked, "Lycoris didn't contact any of you, did she?"

Alex shook his head in disappointment and he looked at Irene, wondering if Lycoris could have possibly contacted her.  If not, he would have no other option but to tell the shapeshifter and they would have to deal with getting Lycoris back another way.

Irene sighed sadly and shaking her head as well, she replied, "Unfortunately not. She hasn't contacted me yet."

Avi sighed as well and nodded, saying nothing more. Irene looked worried as well, as she thought of the same possibility as Alex thought of, that they might to have use force to get Lycoris back.

As Alex continued to eat, he used his telepathy to communicate with Irene and said,

Duchess Irene, I'm worried about the situation with Lycoris.  I talked to the shapeshifter last night and if Lycoris doesn't contact us very soon, she'll want to take more drastic measures.


(Getting sleepy here so I'll get off for the night now and go to sleep.  I'll check back tomorrow and post again.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Irene sighed inwardly and replied,

I understand. I am beginning to think that we have no other choice but going the forceful way too but...it isn't easy. Lisianthus won't allow it and it isn't simple to just go attack Duke Collins like that and get Lycoris back.

Alex replied,

I know but what can we do?  I could try stalling the shapeshifter for time but I don't have any excuses to give her at this point.

Irene was thoughtful for a moment but she replied,

Does she know about Lisianthus' state? Perhaps if you tell her about it, explain that we can't move on our own without her supervision and help and that we have to wait until she's in a better state of mind, that might work?

Alex looked troubled and replied,

I don't know.  You might not be aware of this but the shapeshifter has a grudge against Sia.  It is justified but I'm afraid that if I tell her about Sia's current state, she might take advantage of it and move against her.

Irene was concerned as Alex told her about the shapeshifter's grudge against Lisianthus and changing her mind about the matter, she replied,

In that case, then no, you're right. It's best not to tell her. You'll have to tell me about this grudge later but for now...I suppose you can explain to her that we can't just attack the duke's mansion like that, for it can complicate matters in the gods' world. Tell her that we're trying to put a solid plan that can get Lycoris out of there yet without causing too many problems in the same time. Would that work out?

Alex replied,

I suppose I can tell her that but what if she gets impatient and insists that there's no choice but to get Lycoris herself?

Irene sighed inwardly and replied, 

Just tell her to be patient as we can't take things rashly like that. We have to prepare. To go attack like that without planning properly, we could be just throwing ourselves into defeat.

Alex replied,

Ok, I'll do my best and yes, I agree that we must talk more about this later.  I'm sorry to burden you with this.  I know that we need to help Sia, too.

Irene replied,

No, don't worry about it. Both matters are equally important. Let's pray things get a little brighter soon.


She was soon all done with her breakfast, as were Nerine and Avi.

Alex soon finished his meal and Bryan and Ryan finished, too.  Ryan looked eagerly at Irene, as though silently asking whether it would be all right for them to visit Lisianthus now and see how she was doing.

Bryan looked to Rosaline and asked, "What would you like to do today, my love?"

Rosaline smiled and replied, "We can head to the gardens and have a walk. The morning is beautiful so we can enjoy the weather."

Irene noticed Ryan's look and nodding, she got up and said, "Let's go check on Lisianthus now. Please excuse us, everyone."

Bryan smiled softly and replied, "Of course.  Please send Sia our best wishes for a speedy recovery."

Ryan got up and waited for Irene to get up as well so they could check up on Lisianthus.

Meanwhile, Alex turned to Nerine and asked, "What would you like to do today, darling?"

Irene got up and led the way towards Lisianthus' room, silently praying that things wouldn't go messy between the couple. As the two of them made it there, the soldier at the door saw that they wanted to enter and after bowing politely, he said,

"Please pardon me, but Her Majesty gave us instructions that she doesn't want any visitors at the moment."

Nerine looked thoughtful and replied, "We can head to the gardens too, I guess. Or the library. Whichever you prefer, my Alex."

Ryan looked sadly and quietly replied, "B-but why?  Surely, she'd let us in, wouldn't she?"

He looked hurt and confused.

Meanwhile, Alex replied, "I like the gardens.  The morning air would do us some good, I think."

The soldier replied, "I'm sorry, sir. Her orders were to not let anyone in and she didn't give any exceptions."

Irene looked to Ryan and said, "Ahh I am sure Lisianthus just wants to rest without being disturbed, Ryan. She doesn't mean to push us away or something."

Nerine nodded and said, "Ok then. Then if you are done, we should get going and start enjoying our morning."

Ryan nodded and replied, "U-um ok."

He looked to the soldier and asked, "Would you please let Sia know that we came to see her and that we hope she feels better soon?  I miss her."

Alex nodded and replied, "Yup, I'm all done."

He got up and after helping Nerine out of her seat, he gently held her arm and led the way out of the dining room and outside to the gardens.
