| Hi all,
Yeah, yeah, I know. Some of you already know that I've been too lazy and I am not working on this project much as I should. lol But I've been busy and all although I do try to find time to work on it. (Although I admit it might be because of laziness, too. lol)
Anyway, I had this question pop up in my head today. What's the difference between Lucky Guy! and other visual novels/dating sims? I think it is all the same. Usual harem style, usual visual novel's qualities of opening, save/load buttons and a different ending, etc. I wondered. Why would people play Lucky Guy! if it's not different from other visual novels? What is unique about it?
Hence, I've decided to open this topic for suggestions. What would you like to see in Lucky Guy! ? What do you think we can improve? Please keep in mind that the graphics and music are not original (I do not have resources to make my own) so there must be something unique about it like a different storyline, some interesting events, new features, etc. Please post your suggestions here and inspire me!

| Hi Love,
Let's see. I've played a couple of visual novel games so I'll see what I can add in.
I'm wondering if you plan on adding puzzles to the game. If so, it would be a good idea to have variety. Also, having memorable characters makes players attached to a game. I've noticed this with any game in general. So you should have characters that players will fall in love with.
I'll see what else I can come up with but those are off the top of head. ^^

| Ahh thanks for the suggestions, phoenix. I will see into the puzzle thingy although it will be hard to since the engine I use doesn't support that very much. And yup on the characters. Now if I only could make a character as great as Bryan. | |

| Can you tell me what is the Visual Novel Engine you use? I suppose it is Ren'Py?
All I can say for now is that don't add too much puzzles, since it is a dating game, not an arcade game. Perhaps the best thing to do is to give us a sample of what we can do, then maybe we can suggest some ideas.
Well, that is what I think.

| No, actually, I use RPG Maker XP. LOL
Surprising, I know, but it is possible to make visual novels with it.
And the game is simple: Read and Choose from two choices and in the end, a girl becomes your girlfriend.

| @Stardale: The reason that I suggested that Love might add puzzles is to add an interesting dimension to the game. If you've ever tried out Fatal Hearts (a wonderful visual novel game), it has puzzles. I think a dating game could have puzzles as well although I do agree that it shouldn't have too many. ^^ | |

| I am not defeating the idea of having puzzles. Just saying not too much. I have played a lot of Visual Novels (including Fatal Hearts, a nice one). For now though, like what I said awhile ago, I want to see first what Love can do before I can give some ideas. There might be other ways, though. | |

| Ahh I was wondering something. I've been going back and playing a few visual novel games recently so I was wondering if Lucky Guy! will have a gallery of the endings, since there are at least a few possible different endings that the player can get. I have no idea if it's possible with RPG Maker but I'm curious. ^^ | |
